I recently purchased  The Ultimate RPG Game Master's Worldbuilding Guide: Prompts and Activities to Create and Customize Your Own Game World  by James D'Amato  and it, and going whale watching, inspired me to create a new D&D world. So here we go! I'm going to use prompts from the book to begin crafting this world, but not all posts will be from there. I've finished watching House of the Dragon , season 2, and here are some thoughts/queries! I still ship Rhaenyra and Alicent Not really liking Jace's transformation into hating "mongrels" I was really expecting Daemon to die at Harrenhal already (and I wish he would) How many atrocities of Daemon's can the fans forgive and forget? (I feel like it's a lot) I was fully expecting some more births and weddings this season Helaena needs more screen time I hope Alys is in next season--she's great Is Helaena's daughter going to be important at all? Like does she need to exist? I am confused, are we seeing the beginning of Dorne? When are we going to meet this mysterious fourth child of Alicent's? I wanted more of Baela and Rhaena (it SEEMS like Rhaena shall tame a wild dragon?) Who is Aemond betrothed to again? Is this important? I'm writing this the day that me and some friends are headed to Galena. For those who don't know, Galena is a small city in Illinois near the Iowa border. It has gorgeous rolling hills, a quaint and charming downtown, and tons of memories for me. I know, I know, hills in Illinois? Who knew? But it's true, there are hills in Galena and the surrounding area. It's quite beautiful and it makes me feel far away even though it's just like a three-ish hour drive (depends on traffic etc., etc.).  The downtown has a lot of great shops where I've bought things ranging from a haunted doll photograph to lilac soap to a figurine of an alligator made to look like it was a sweet potato to kiwi jam. I've had a root beer flight, a cheese flight, and an alcohol flight (included wine, liqueur, and whiskey). There are a few favorite spots featuring nerdy items, great socks, and delicious pastries. My friends and I go to Galena every year and I think I only missed 2020 because, ...

BEACH DAY It’s finally FRISKY enough to head to the beach! So gather your best BUTTS , don your DULCET THONG , and head over. Once there, you can GARROTE in the water or PRESS on the sand. Or just do whatever your UVULA desires, as long as you’re enjoying the COMPASSION and outdoors.  Don’t forget to pack ROPES or you’ll end up VOLUPTUOUS  and SMARMY . I saw this about a week and a half ago and here are some thoughts!  The real stars of the show were the set, set pieces, and lighting (truly impressive) My favorite song was  "Now and for Always" Though it's impressive how much was packed into one play, I felt some things were lost  Not sure how I feel about the orcs being in hoodies and breakdancing (not to say they were bad at it, to be clear, they were quite good especially as sometimes one would just cock their head to the side in a way that made me go "Gah!") I'm grateful that, especially given that Éowyn was cut, that one of the hobbits (Merry) was played by a woman The voice of Tree Beard was (impressively and rewardingly) John Lithgow! Who knew? My favorite aspect of the theater itself was that pretty much every seat had a great view Though I was not compelled to buy merch after the show, I was glad I got a themed cocktail Not to say I could do better, but I feel like this show was poorly advertised ...
