What can you make furniture out of?

I recently learned that furniture can be made out of cardboard. I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised by this because I had seen a cardboard bike before and I've definitely used a box as a bedside table, but for some reason I was a bit surprised. If cardboard can be used to make furniture, what else can?

Obviously, I have seen furniture made out of plastic, glass, metal, wood, rope (if you count hammocks).,and stone, but if cardboard is another material, there must be others. I guess you could make furniture out of living plants, right? I feel like this shouldn't be too hard. You can make plants grow in a certain way so I feel like making seats or tables out of living plants would be doable. Also, moss and other plants are very soft so you could probably make the furniture pretty comfy. Now, these would be hard to move as there would be roots, but either they could just be outside or they people would just have to deal with them being difficult to move (I mean lots of things are difficult to move, but people still have them).

I wonder if you could knit some furniture. I realize a lot couldn't be made out of knitting, but maybe like a beanbag chair? It would take a lot of knitting, I know, but think of how comfy it could be. Also, think of how accomplished you would feel seeing such a large knitting project done?

Books seem like they'd be a pretty good material. I realize that books are made of paper (which actually could also be a material, but more on that in a second), but since they're already in brick-like form I feel like they'd be easy to use. Tables, desks, chairs, and bed frames could all be easily made with books.

Paper is also definitely a possibility. I realize that this is just a relative of cardboard, but still I think it counts as a new kind of material. Paper can be folded or wrapped to be pretty tight and stiff so it could be made to make desks and other stiff type furniture. This may require some kind of like glaze or varnish or something to last longer, but that should be okay.

I wonder if you could just use paint for things. Now it would require a mold of some kind, but couldn't I make a desk with a mold and just pouring paint into it? Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to put a lamp on top of it (as I imagine it'd melt), but a lot of these would be bad ideas to have electric lamps on top of.

I think I may have actually also seen a bench or something made out of mud and something else (my memory is clearly failing me). But I bet you could easily use mud or sand or some form of clay (actually this has probably been done, hasn't it?) to make furniture. Now this may be best as outside furniture cause I'm not sure how well you could prevent dirt coming off on clothes, but also maybe they would be destroyed by the weather. Hrm, maybe a glaze of some kind would be put over it to prevent any problems?

Now, because of an episode of friends, I also wonder if you could make furniture out of cheese. This seems possible as you can buy it in bricks and a lot of cheese is pretty hard. Now, mold would obviously be a problem, but maybe they could just be a temporary piece of furniture. Other food could be used too I think. Chocolate for sure, although that is definitely coming off on clothes, so maybe a table would be the best kind of furniture. I feel like stale bread could be carved into furniture. Crackers also could be used, but dear god that would take forever to build something because the bricks are so small.

I'm probably missing some obvious ones, but what do you think, have I missed any? Would you buy any of the kinds of furniture I propose?

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
