So I did get some of this spoiled for me so some of these reactions won't fully be of surprise.

- Welp Dany is mad now, yes? Guess we were right about her going mad, but boy did a lot of people pay the price. Not sure what her plan is now, but I guess she probably doesn't have one.
- Toldja Varys was gonna die. From his own view point though, he didn't deserve it. And now that we know how Dany went...he was right.
- Jon has to turn on Dany now. Like he really has to because that was a nightmare.
- Cersei really was pregnant? Boy did I not think that was true. Also, she did know that the pregnancy wouldn't end in a live birth, right? There was that whole prophecy about her having three children.
- So how did Cersei have the life choked from her? I guess Jaime had his hand around the back of her neck when they got smashed, but that doesn't count as him choking the life out of her. Maybe they somehow survived? And we'll get a better death?
- I had trouble believing Jaime still being so deeply in love with Cersei. Maybe this is just because I'm so behind Jaime and Brienne, but he knows she sent Bronn to kill him...and still we want to die with her? Idk just didn't work for me.
- Clegane Bowl happened! Although once I saw they were on an edge I knew it was going to end with them both going over the edge.
- We sure tried to get attached to some randos. There was the mom and daughter who helped Arya and there was Varys's little bird. I guess the point of the mom and daughter was to have a personal connection to the destruction of the city, but I'm not sure what the point of the little bird was. Maybe to show a connection Varys had before he died?
- I'm still not sure if anyone besides the Hound knew that Arya made it to King's Landing. Like it takes a while to go south from Winterfell. Sigh, I guess we've given up on any sense of time.
- During part of the episode, I really thought we'd see Dany kill Tyrion. I didn't think this would happen in the episode, but I thought it would happen next episode. Now I think he may outlive her. He's probably going to throw his weight behind Jon now.
- I think more named characters died in this episode than fighting an army of the undead. I haven't counted this up, to be fair, but I really think it's true. Yes, I do get that this was a very destructive battle, but I do feel like army of the undead that doesn't tire and can only be killed in certain ways should have taken a bigger toll on our named characters.
- There were too many 'Is Arya dead???' moments. I really don't think she's going to die so I just found them annoying.
- That was a very calm horse. Like there has been literal fire raining down upon the city and there were rocks falling and people screaming and the horse is just kinda chill. Like I get that we see the horse when things had calmed down, but still...it was too calm.
- Remember back in Qarth when Dany goes into the House of the Undying and sees a vision of the throne room partially destroyed and what looks like snow coming down? Well it seems like that was actually ash. Given what we've seen, it seems like a prediction that she would destroy the city.
- Boy did I not care about the fight between Euron and Jaime. Like I wasn't really invested in Euron one way or another, but I really wasn't invested in the hatred between Euron and Jaime. It also seems like Euron didn't know or didn't care about Tyrion knowing about the baby. I wish that plotline had had a point. I also wish Yara had killed Euron or even his own people as they wanted to follow Yara. Just something that went more into his plotline.
