Thoughts on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season 2, episode 16

 So glad we're back on this show.

  1. Wait...how did we not tell Hannah yet?
  2. Did Hannah's friends' parents really okay thembeing on TV?

  5. I really hope Armando and Kenny stay together
  6. TBH if you wanted your parents to be there for the birth, they should've been here already...you are only a week away from your due date

  8. It is fair to be scared during a c-section though
  9. I'd find it hard to not cry in this situation too

  22. Man, it's sad to see this improvement of Deavan and Jihoon when I know that they are a wreck now
  23. Cheesestick and Melyza are having sex again
  24. Melyza takes credit for their sex quality
  25. I can't tell what Cheesestick's tattoos are
  26. Melyza, what Cheesestick said was that he flirted while you guys were not together...which seems not bad. Although, I get how it brings up tough stuff
  27. Cheesestick lost some weight I think
  28. Melyza, you only had to tell Cheesestick this because you already said it on camera
  29. Melyza, Cheesestick will see your interviews you know
  30. It is different, Cheesestick, because you two weren't together
  31. I mean Cheesestick, if he's being the most fair, probably just needs time to adjust to seeing the timeline for what it was

  33. I love that Brittany said she wants kids, a dog, and a nanny

  36. I think Ari is having a panic attack or at least a full meltdown

  38. I'm so glad the baby was born safe cause, honestly, TLC has shown some bad stuff with babies before
  39. I wonder how common the tradition of having the parent who wasn't giving birth cut the cord is
  40. Armando's mom's garden is beautiful

  43. Armando, yes, your mom has work to do, but you have also acknowledged that there is a problem with homophobia in your area so I'm not sure she will ever be able to just not care what people say and do
  44. Cheesestick is actually making a good choice in talking to his therapist about this

  48. Biniyam, I feel like the problem was that in order for you son to be baptized, Ari would have to be baptized too and she is a practicing Jew

  50. Kenny and Armando's title card now has Hannah and I'm delighted
  51. The lighting on Kenny and Armando during their interviews makes it seem like they have stains on their necks
  52. Armando's sister seems to be getting their
  53. Does Armando's sister have a "stay sexy" tattoo and, if so, is it an MFM reference?
  54. Truffles is great comic relief
  55. Kenny, Armando is choosing (with good reason) to move away form his family
  56. God, it's so sad that the bar is as low as Armando's dad showing up
  57. I don't think they got the focus right on Cheesestick and Melyza's title card
  58. You're right, Melyza, if you can't forgive Cheesestick then you shouldn't be together
  59. This is going to be real mean, but Ari and Biniyam's son looks like an elf in their title card
  60. You all don't have a bed for the baby?
  61. Oh it was two weeks out...but still
  62. Ari...you aren't alone...the camera crew is there
  63. I mean, Ari may not like it, but it is meant to be temporary
  64. I think haggling is harder when you're on camera

  74. Looks like Kenny and Armando have to have some talk about parenting duties
  75. Deavan and Jihoon are picking a bad venue

  77. Sumit's wife wants alimony...how did you two not expect this as a possibility?
  78. Ari and Biniyam have just skipped so many conversations
  79. When are we getting the Yazan murder talk?
  80. Can't wait til next week!

Starting my parental journey, part 9

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year.
