Thoughts on Darcey & Stacey season 1, episode 10

  1. Florian has perfume
  2. Florian's accessories are insane
  3. Stacey, Florian just keeps giving out little bits of information...why do you think he's done doing that?
  4. Rhode Island...cool?
  5. Stacey's outfit is also insane

  7. I'm not sure I'd count bringing strawberries and champagne as a surprise
  8. Darcey, don't go all Baby Girl on Georgi
  9. Darcey's glasses don't have lenses filling the entire frames and I'm mad
  10. Darcye, Georgi is right that Stacey and Florian could've been having sex
  11. Georgi called Darcey Stacey and Darcey is like, we're not swingers
  12. Stacey has already changed her outfit
  13. Wow Darcey gave them $100
  14. But there are gifts in the bag...are we not gonna see them?

  22. Florian is so glad he's not the one being interrogated this time
  23. Wait does Georgi have a baby?
  24. Okay it seems like Georgi doesn't have a kid...but Darcey is being crazy
  25. Stacey struggling with the door is hilarious
  26. Darcey's suit is barely containing her boobs

  28. Oh god I would not trust Florian to hold me on his shoulders
  29. Darcey looks sunburned

  31. I did enjoy the duck floating behind Georgi
  32. Florian is giving better advice than I thought he would
  33. Is that a fisherman just beyond the boys?
  34. Darcey, yes Georgi is married but he is also legally separated 
  35. Ah yeah that's the problem with keeping any kind of secrets
  36. "What about this" isn't that romantic
  37. Of course we take a commercial break here

  39. Ah yes, flashbacks to Jesse and Tom
  40. I love that they're both tearing up
  41. Were the shots on the boat all zoom ins?
  42. Sharing with Stacey is great...but you should also share it with your kids
  43. Oh man Darcey is gonna love the fact that she's stealing some of Stacey's thunder
  44. Georgi is sunburned
  45. Okay it does seem like Stacey is happy for Darcey
  46. The twins' crying noises are too funny to me
  47. Wow Florian and Darcey had like a nice moment
  48. Florian is so glad his buddy is sticking around

  50. Twin wedding...yes TLC will pay for it

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
