Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 13, episode 4

Someone is FINALLY going to go home, right?

  1. Yes, have Elliott hide
  2. Oooh are we getting another couple
  3. So are Tina and Kandy going to be in trouble this week? I just wonder cause we spent time on being told that they're friends
  4. I love Ru's suit
  5. Yes, holiday movies about anything but Christmas! This'll be good
  6. Does Kahmora have a bandaid on her ear?
  7. Main characters have the most lines, Denali
  8. Wait are the scripts the same?
  9. Utica really set Ru off
  10. I'm excited to see some long trains on the runway
  11. I'm so glad Tamisha is doing well
  12. Joey...you saying all the of the instructions you were given sounded really reasonable
  13. LaLa feels a bit stiff
  14. Denali, you signed up for the role with the most lines
  15. Oof the Valentine's Day one seems to be the worst so far
  16. I hope Kandy's look stays together on the runway
  17. Aw Tamisha is named after her daughter
  18. I don't know who Loni Love is, but I think she's been on the show before
  19. Denali looks like a beautiful bird and the fact that it's inspired by quetzals is so cool
  20. Wow the chicken vs. ostrich feathers beef continues
  21. Olivia looks stunning
  22. Elliott looks straight out of Kleinfeld's
  23. Kahmora is a dragon and I love it
  24. Symone has a unique take on trains and it's so smart and she looks great
  25. LaLa looks stunning and I love the face mask
  26. Utica's look is not my favorite but it is clever
  27. Rosé likes the loofa look
  28. Gottmik was smart to bring her own wind
  29. Tina was smart to bring in trains
  30. Joey Jay changed up her hair and has a hilarious train
  31. Kandy does look super vampy and sexy
  32. Tamisha is so talented
  33. Elliott's role is so boring
  34. I do love the tree puns
  35. Jeffrey Boyer-Chapman!
  36. Misery Loves Company was not that good
  37. RuPaulmark is a solid pun
  38. Symone is great
  39. God Loves Flags was fun, but mostly because of Symone
  40. Kandy is pretty funny and Gottmik is a solid straight man
  41. April Fool's Rush In was pretty solid
  42. Man them all leaving the stage with those trains must've been difficult
  43. So Symone is going to win
  44. And I was right
  45. I predict Kahmora is going to go home
  46. Kahmora didn't make her outfit lip sync friendly
  47. Denali is pulling out all the stops
  48. It's true that being a drag daughter of a previous Ru girl is a bit of a curse
  49. Looks like a baby mini next week
  50. NICOLE BYER IS BACK NEXT WEEK

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
