  11. Oh yeah we gotta meet Jovi's dad still
  12. Jovi's mom matches her pillow

  16. God is Jovi drinking again?
  17. Ah yes, let's shame Yara for her clothing choices

  21. Hey you see how it's a bummer that you might not get to see your grandkids a lot...that's what Yara's parents are feeling
  22. Jovi's parents are not acknowledging that Jovi gets a say in where he lives but they don't
  23. Yeah how would Hazel no how to drive a car if she never had a car?
  24. Aw they're working out together and it's sweet

  35. Ah so Andrew's mom doesn't like the plan because it costs money
  36. I'm sorry, was that a mermaid at Andrew's door?

  38. Ah so Zied is getting temporary tattoos?
  39. Jovi's family, you can't have it both ways. You can't think Yara is trying to spirit Jovi away to another country and that Yara's sole goal is to live in the US
  40. Why is Yara not allowed to come to this party?
  41. I don't like this joke about leaving Yara alone

  43. Jovi is actually making a good point that Yara is so out of her comfort zone right now
  44. Having like a cookout isn't just a Louisiana thing. Like I get that the crawfish part might be but he's acting like no one else has the idea to cook food and drink beer outsidse

  54. Wow we're still only a few days into Zied's visa?
  55. Did Rebecca's daughter invite Hannah just to tempt Zied?
  56. Rebecca, you need to calm down about Hannah
  57. Also, Rebecca, how are you surprised that you're the only one in your age group?
  58. So Mike is finally relenting for counseling
  59. Natalie is so excited for therapy

  61. Oof Mike wants to know why Natalie came...so do I
  62. Wow Natalie's pause at the question if they're still in love is so telling
  63. Wow Mike is straight up saying they're not in love
  64. Natalie is still somewhat in love with Mike apparently
  65. Does Jovi know that you don't like crawfish?
  66. Ah if she doesn't like seafood then you should know she wouldn't like crawfish
  67. Jovi, if you like the way Yara looks, you have to give her time to get ready
  68. I do think Jovi has a drinking problem...like legitimately
  69. Jovi says he hasn't been drinking as he has a beer in his hand
  70. Oof, Yara, if you're really only here cause you're pregnant then you probably shouldn't be here
  71. Oof still no sex for Stephanie and Ryan, huh?
  72. Stephanie...you just said she SOMETIMES gets things right on the nose
  73. Sooo what happened in the past four hours?
  74. Next time Julia is pregnant
  75. Next time Hazel and Tarik talk about having a girlfriend
  76. Next time Rebecca questions Zied about him wanting kids
  77. Next time Stephanie calls Harris to come over
  78. Next time Natalie says she's hotter than Mike but Mike says her beauty is ugly
  79. Next time Jovi chugs beer and gets drunk
  80. I can't wait

Starting my parental journey, part 9

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year.
