Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 6, episode 9

Drag Tots challenge.

  1. Well for now it's the top five...but in theory a game within a game will be Ruvealed soon
  2. Omg a mini challenge?!
  3. I'm doing pretty well with this game
  4. Wow Drag Tots is real
  5. If they're doing this challenge, they really could do a Dungeons and Drag Queens challenge
  6. Can we stop doing the southern belle thing?
  7. So the characters have to be subversive too?
  8. But the characters also have to not be too serious
  9. Queen Semen
  10. So are Trinity and Eureka a thing?
  11. A lot of the queens seem to be struggling
  12. As a toddler you found your grandfather's porn, Ra'Jah?!
  13. I love the movement of Ru's look
  14. Trinity looks great
  15. Ginger looks nice but it's not a wow
  16. I like Ra'Jah's look but it's not a wow for me (though her glasses are great)
  17. "Dropping it like it's luke warm"
  18. Eureka has a clear character but still not a wow
  19. I love Kylie's look
  20. I would've had Trinity win, but based on what the judges said I'm not surprised that Ra'Jah won
  21. Kameron Michaels is a lip sync assassin
  22. Huh I do know the guest judge it turns out
  23. I was not terribly impressed with this lip sync
  24. Yeah I figured Eureka was going home (though I think I would've voted for Kylie)
  25. Why was it 15 minutes later instead of an hour later?
  26. Next time the top four celebrate...briefly
  27. Next time the game within a game is Ruvealed!
  28. Okay so the twist has opponents
  29. Can't wait for the Ruveal!
  30. Next time!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
