  1. Wait Meredith thinks that Jen hooked up with the person she allegedly had an affair with?
  2. So Meredith is really saying she didn't have anything to do with the FBI knowing where Jen was the day she was arrested...but present day me knows she's hinted that she did
  3. I love that Mary is realistic about how long it'll take Meredith and Jen to get along
  4. So Lisa...what did you say?
  5. You all did kinda speculate that it was a fake memorial or that she lied about the timing
  6. I do like it when the ladies have fun
  7. Don't lie about your weight when you're doing stuff like this
  8. Jennie...that's not cool
  9. I wonder if they're dancing without music because of rights issues
  10. Well they had a fun night
  11. Next time they go horseback riding
  12. Next time we continue to speculate about the memorial
  13. Next time Mary is evasive about Robert (Sr.?)
  14. Next time we have a big fight
  15. Next time looks great, can't wait!

Starting my parental journey, part 9

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year.
