Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 14, episode 7

Acting challenge!

  1. Oooh Daya is being shady
  2. Daya...that wasn't a super good apology
  3. Poor Lady Camden
  4. Daya, don't delight in DeJa struggling
  5. Willow's look is a tad creepy (I hate fake hands), but cool
  6. Bosco looks lovely
  7. DeJa's look fits her great, but I'm not that wowed
  8. Kerri looks hot (unsurprisingly)
  9. I'm not a fan of Jorgeous's look because it just looks like it doesn't fit to me
  10. Angeria looks great
  11. I'm also not a fan of Jasmine's look
  12. Lady really had me there
  13. I love Daya's look (but maybe I'm biased cause she's on my team)
  14. I thought Eureka was not a part of the official O'Hara family
  15. I'm not a fan of the fart jokes tbh
  16. This is going on for too long
  17. I'm surprised that DeJa is safe to be honest
  18. Ah there are no bottoms (although since you have safes and tops, the safes are the bottoms...just sayin')
  19. Sounds like Jorgeous should've been safe from the beginning
  20. Well that song is creepier than I remember
  21. I think Lady won (and I'm right), but I want Daya to win cause she's on my team
  22. Next time is a song challenge
  23. Next time there is some drama
  24. Next time looks good
  25. Can't wait!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
