Thoughts on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16, episode 16

Time to go on vacation.

  1. Chicken salad conversations
  2. Oop Heather called Noella a thirsty girl
  3. Lol Noella is surprised that Heather knows what thirsty means
  4. Oop I missed Heather saying that Noella's life was karma
  5. Oof, Noella
  6. I'd try archery
  7. Kinda sounds like you want to set some boundaries with Noella (which is fine, but you should be clear about it)
  8. Mine tour!
  9. Short miners
  10. Oooh pretty creek
  11. Shannon, you calling Emily a shit stirrer, is stirring shit
  12. I'm excited for these bear costumes
  13. I always feel bad for performers and other staff on these shows
  14. Is it that deep, Gina?
  15. And we're crying again
  16. Maybe Shannon is just being nice, Gina?
  17. Next time is the season finale
  18. Next time we play dress up
  19. Next time we play music?
  20. Next time we take new wedding photos
  21. Next time Noella takes her ring off
  22. Next time Gina seems mad that she and shannon aren't closer...
  23. ...which is confusing
  24. Next time looks pretty good
  25. Can't wait!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
