90 Day Fiance season 9, episode 10

Looks like we have some fights a'brewin'.

  1. You wanted a 200 person wedding when you don't have a job, Emily?
  2. Rocky City admittedly isn't super impressive, but it seems fun
  3. Princess and Penguin is a fun name for a wedding outfit shop
  4. I like this first dress Emily is in, but I don't love it
  5. Emily is 29 with a kid...she should be more grown up already
  6. I like dress #2 better
  7. Emily's mom is right, marriage is about more than the ring
  8. Sigh...Emily...you shouldn't have spent the money on a ring when neither of you have a job and you have a child to support
  9. This poor shop attendant
  10. Emily's sister seems somewhat sane
  11. The Black Serbs didn't even finish their album...shocker
  12. Jibri is right to be suspicious
  13. Jibri...you and Miona should have a beach wedding later
  14. WOW JIBRI
  15. Okay, Jibri's dad (I don't know names), getting another K-1 visa is really difficult
  16. So is it that you can't go to the wedding or that you won't go?
  17. Patrick, why did you bring Thaís here?
  18. Patrick, did you pick out this store? Why didn't you bring her to IKEA?
  19. Patrick, you literally just said whatever she wants
  20. Wow they're getting just a vase (that sales guy is committed)
  21. I'm not sure Patrick is being controlling, but he does need to work through some STUFF
  22. Bilal, you two don't need a distraction...you need to actually talk about stuff
  23. Shaeeda is super flexible
  24. Shaeeda looks great in dress #1 and I don't usually like fluffy bottoms to dresses
  25. How has Bilal's sister not seen this side of Bilal?
  26. Well...it is technically #3...
  27. So Bini should've given Ari a heads up but Ari acted nuts
  28. Avi is so cute
  29. Lol I don't sort my laundry
  30. Guillermo...don't talk that way to an inanimate object
  31. I do not like Tim's mustache
  32. Wait Kara wants Guillermo to be more controlling?
  33. Patrick, you're talking condescendingly
  34. Patrick could approach this differently...
  35. Also, Patrick, you should tell Thaís what you make as marriage is, in part, a financial arrangement
  36. Omg it's not every detail
  37. Patrick, you're telling us your issues, but you're not telling Thaís them
  38. Bilal, this is a terrible time to bring up the prenup
  39. Ah so they talked about the prenup and Shaeeda said no to having one and then Bilal went ahead with one
  40. YOU KNEW THIS WASN'T GOOD, BILAL
  41. Not sure how much a prenup will protect you from what you had to agree to in the visa process
  42. How are you affording a hotel, Bini and Ari?
  43. Does Bini have insurance?
  44. Patrick, you have to be vulnerable with Thaís...you're marrying her
  45. Jibri and Miona coordinated outfits again
  46. Jibri...you had control over the timeline of all of this
  47. Bilal, do you not want her to read the prenup?
  48. So Bini wins his fight and does an awesome/super risky backflip
  49. Next time Kobe goes ring shopping and Emily's purchase is exposed
  50. Next time Ari meets up with her ex that she's definitely still in love with
  51. Next time Jibri and Miona have a confrontation with Jibri's parents
  52. Next time Mohamed says Yve was raised with too much freedom
  53. Next time Shaeeda wants to adjust the prenup to include having children as mandatory
  54. Next time Thaís tries to pressure Patrick to getting married in Vegas
  55. Can't wait!

Starting my parental journey, part 2

You can read part 1 here . Yesterday I began the next step of my parental journey. Ironically, it was starting birth control. This medicine helps prepare my ovaries for the egg retrieval process. It was weird taking the pill to prepare for my fertility journey because you typically think of the pill as ensuring you don't get pregnant. Obviously, I'm not getting pregnant now, but I am getting ready for that eventual possibility. There have also been various bureaucratic issues that I've been dealing with. Mostly insurance stuff (as I'm sure comes as no surprise). But, thanks to a new benefit at work that started 1/1/24, my journey will be (mostly) covered. While, again, there were some bureaucratic hurdles that I had to overcome in order for this to all work out, I am immensely glad that it did work out. I am nervous though. In part I'm nervous about a lot of the practicalities of this step in my journey. For instance, I will have to inject myself with various medica...

15 ways to support me on my parental journey

I posted yesterday and in August, 2023 about starting my parental journey. If you're wondering how you can support me, here are some ideas I have at the moment (though these may change and also don't feel pressured to do any of these things). Check in via text or DM so I can respond at my leisure (but please don't be insulted if I take a long time to respond) Help with arranging food for me (I know that when I get overwhelmed, I often have really awful eating habits) Offer to help with apartment chores (I may turn you down, but the offer will mean a lot) Walk Hoban (I realize only some people can do this, but the relief of lightening the responsibility of Hoban will likely be welcome) Be understanding if I have to cancel plans (I hope to still be somewhat social during this time, but I cannot guarantee how I'm going to feel) Drive me to appointments (I have the retrieval itself covered, but I have other appointments that will happen leading up to it so if you have the...
