Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 7, episode 7

Ru design challenge!

  1. Monét's Dolly outfit continues to be amazing
  2. Jinkx, please block one of the two star queens
  3. Yvie...I'm so confused by your metaphor cause you were speeding past and then crashed so are you saying you're going to crash and burn?
  4. Colleen looks so cute
  5. Gotta love innuendo
  6. Gotta love some order drama
  7. Raja, you could easily be right
  8. "I believe in witchcraft, hot glue, and gumption"
  9. Betsey Johnson seems like she'll be a fun guest
  10. Jinkx has lost it
  11. Scheming time
  12. "the blocking block"
  13. "Trinity the Truck"
  14. Ru's look is interesting but I don't love it
  15. I think Yvie looks great
  16. The Vivienne looks beautiful
  17. Shea looks fantastic
  18. I can't believe Trinity made that look in so little time
  19. I don't really like Raja's look personally
  20. Jinkx looks adorable
  21. Jaida looks gorgeous (as always)
  22. Monét's look is super fun
  23. "Bed, Bath, and Beyond Thunderdome"
  24. I really thought Shea would be in the top
  25. I like Jaida's bodysuit better than Trinity's
  26. I thought Jaida was winning at first, but Trinity pulled a great stunt
  27. Blocking someone with two stars makes sense
  28. I'm glad Jinkx wasn't blocked again
  29. Next time is a Santa-themed acting challenge
  30. Can't wait!

Starting my parental journey, part 2

You can read part 1 here . Yesterday I began the next step of my parental journey. Ironically, it was starting birth control. This medicine helps prepare my ovaries for the egg retrieval process. Obviously, I'm not getting pregnant now, but I am getting ready for that eventual possibility. There have also been various bureaucratic issues that I've been dealing with. Mostly insurance stuff (as I'm sure comes as no surprise). But, thanks to a new benefit at work that started 1/1/24, my journey will be (mostly) covered. While, again, there were some bureaucratic hurdles that I had to overcome in order for this to all work out, I am immensely glad that it did work out. I am nervous though. In part I'm nervous about a lot of the practicalities of this step in my journey. For instance, I will have to inject myself with various medica...

15 ways to support me on my parental journey

I posted yesterday and in August, 2023 about starting my parental journey. If you're wondering how you can support me, here are some ideas I have at the moment (though these may change and also don't feel pressured to do any of these things).
