Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 7, episode 11

Variety show!

  1. Trinity dragging Jaida is pretty funny
  2. Woo Planned Parenthood!
  3. Trans Lifeline is a new one for me, but sounds good
  4. Monét may not have the best voice...
  5. Color of Change is a great one
  6. The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence seems really important
  7. The Period Poverty Project is one I haven't heard of, but sounds great
  8. The National Center for Transgender Equality sounds good
  9. To be fair, Jinkx, I don't think you held back in the design challenges
  10. Congrats on two years of sobriety, Jinkx (and almost 22, Ru!)
  11. The Black Visions Collective is another I haven't heard of, but sounds great
  12. Aw, Jaida, I want to hug you
  13. Free Black Therapy is yet another new one
  14. I love this Ru look
  15. I haven't even heard of the series the guest judge is on...I'm so out of the loop
  16. Trinity's act was fun, but didn't wow me
  17. I called Yvie fitting in that box
  18. Jaida really knows her brand and the Goldblum face really got me
  19. Jinkx can really sing
  20. Shea's song is catchy
  21. Raja's act was the best so far
  22. "Bitch on heels" is a good slogan
  23. Ru brought out the opera glasses for Monét
  24. I take back everything I wrote about Monét's voice...like holy shit
  25. Monét...you're going to pick your twinner, yes? (Yes)
  26. Oh nice, each charity got some money
  27. Nice another competition
  28. Ah yes, the call to social media
  29. Next time is the finale!
  30. Can't wait

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
