Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 8, episode 7

Time for an improv challenge.

  1. LaLa loves making an entrance
  2. I kinda love this challenge
  3. Yeah Alexis, if the roles are similar then you would take it
  4. Wait I'm only now noticing the back of Alexis's hair...what?
  5. Wait is Kahanna leaving too?
  6. That is kinda rude to Jaymes to be honest...
  7. Okay so Ru rallied the troops
  8. Jimbo is giving some good advice
  9. I love that Lil' Poundcake is back
  10. What is with these plastic fish?
  11. So this is a very accurate parody, but so far it isn't a very funny parody
  12. Okay the pit crew should've been the newscasters
  13. I love Ru's look
  14. Whoa Javicia Leslie is gorgeous
  15. Haha I enjoy Jessica's look
  16. So Kahanna looks great, but I'm not sure it fits the assignment
  17. LaLa's look is so fun
  18. Kandy looks amazing but it isn't themed enough for me
  19. I don't get Alexis's look but she sure is pretty
  20. Jimbo's look is funny to me
  21. To be honest, no one stood out to me, but I thought LaLa should've won last week so this works for me
  22. I would probably vote for Kahanna since she was recently ready to go home (and LaLa chose her too)
  23. Jorgeous looks so good
  24. I thought Jorgeous was going to win, but I wanted LaLa to win so this works for me
  25. Next week is a sewing challenge

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
