15 things I would consider for my podcast "But in the Book"

So one of my ideas for a podcast is compare book and movie/TV adaptations. I'm considering trying it so here are some ideas.

  1. Dream casting the movie/show
  2. Best change and least best change
  3. Petty corner (I go into super specifics of things that irk me)
  4. What we lost in the adaptation
  5. What we gained in the adaptation
  6. Original cover art vs. movie/TV poster
  7. Having a guest who has either only read the book or seen the movie/TV show
  8. Interviewing a bookseller
  9. Having a cohost (hey you!)
  10. Has either the book or movie/TV adaptation influenced the way I see the other?
  11. Is there any good merch now that there is a movie/TV adaptation?
  12. Fan art feature (a segment where I select some of my favorite fan art from either version)
  13. Disclaimer that I probably couldn't have adapted it better, but acknowledge that I'm still allowed to have opinions
  14. Favorite quotes from either version
  15. Recommended order of consumption (book or movie/TV show to start with)
