Thoughts on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, episode 4

Time for some big feelings.

  1. Who encouraged this priest to come over to Manuel and Ashley?
  2. Priests have to have heard crazier stuff than this
  3. Ashley, I honestly say hide some of it (maybe I'm insensitive though)
  4. I forgot Mahmoud had flirty chats
  5. Nicole and Mahmoud should not be together for so many reasons
  6. Sophie...dump Rob
  7. Callum is cute
  8. I wonder where Kobe's friend pulled this "90% of people who left Cameroon for the US haven't been happy" statistic from
  9. Michelle seems great for Jasmine
  10. Nicole, you and Mahmoud should just split up
  11. Oy, Manuel and Ashley need to go to Newark, not NYC
  12. Emily, I think Kobe is doing great
  13. I hope Gino's cousin gets through to him
  14. Nicole, dump him, you two are incompatible
  15. Oop Callum and Sophie dated
  16. Rob, Sophie didn't cheat
  17. Oh, Jasmine
  18. Next time we hang out with Patrick and Thais
  19. Next time John might come with them to Brazil
  20. Next time Emily doesn't vibe with Kobe's friends
  21. Next time Ashley doesn't trust Manuel
  22. Next time Gino and Jasmine might actually be in trouble
  23. Next time Mahmoud meets Nicole's friends by surprise
  24. Next time Rob is pissy
  25. Next time Callum gets in between Rob and Sophie

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
