Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 18, episode 9

  2. Oh, Juicy, I'm so glad you have people who support you
  3. Aw Myki announced the 0 win queens so kindly
  4. Nini looked genuinely startled when Ru appeared
  5. This is mostly a fun game, but yeah it always ends with "Who is going home next?"
  6. Why people want their roles are hilarious
  7. Oof, I do feel for Nini as someone who can have a difficult time making decisions, but yeah you gotta make a decision!
  8. So, I'm not one to talk, but isn't Myki's voice like a little off pitch?
  9. Aw, Jane, I'm glad you found drag
  10. Myki is shining in this opening scene, but Darlene is hilarious
  11. Ru is not living for Athena
  12. I am loving these lyrics, so brava whoever wrote them
  13. Myki, you did need a bigger butt
  14. Myki looks great
  15. Darlene's look is quirky and BIG (so I love it lol)
  16. Kenya is STUNNING
  17. Athena's look is a WHOA
  18. Discord knows how to laugh at herself, which is welcome (also, her look is fun!)
  19. The best part of Nini's look is her wig
  20. So Jane looks fabulous, but is it beige enough?
  21. Jane was pretty great
  22. Ah, we knew that eventually Juicy and Athena were going to have to duel it out
  23. Aw, that ending was so powerful (though the clapping was kind of lackluster)
  24. I think Athena is glad Juicy is staying
  25. Next time Iman guest judges, the queens judge Discord, and maybe someone comes back?

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
