Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 18, episode 11

Time for the Alyssa Edwards Roast!

  1. Oop folks still want Discord gone
  2. I do think Discord could've been in the top for Snatch Game
  3. Oop people are sick of Jane winning
  4. Darlene...:Nancy Kerrigan was the one who was attacked...not the attacker
  5. Lol Nini brought up double elimination
  6. I feel like a fragrance ad is a big ask for a mini challenge
  7. Lol Discord's girly voice is her Pope voice
  8. So now Ru knows Alyssa's name
  9. I do find Darlene so charming
  10. Did Michelle say "toast jokes"?
  11. Oop so Myki put Discord first
  12. Juicy, I did get what you meant, but I did not find it super funny
  13. I love how much Darlene cracks herself up
  14. Oop Nini is being a tad too mean
  15. Myki...I am worried for you
  16. Aw Jane is so kind
  17. Ru's look is SO FUN
  18. Alyssa is STUNNING
  19. So some of Discord's jokes worked for me, but she definitely read form her cards too much and, as Jane pointed out, some did not land
  20. Why did Myki put Juicy after Jane...was it sabotage? Juicy is struggling in her own right, but it's underscored by following Jane
  21. Darlene ended up getting there by being (as Nini said) unhinged
  22. Nini wasn't he best, but her white privilege joke was quite funny
  23. Kenya is nervous (oh no, I love Kneya...but...yikes)
  24. Myki was great
  25. Discord's idea is pretty epic, but the headpiece is not the best constructed
  26. Jane looks divine
  27. Juicy is gorgeous, but the parachute is kind of outshining her
  28. Darlene is campy and I love it
  29. Kenya's hair is perfection and this color looks impeccable on her, but the wings are not the best
  30. Myki looks great, but the chiffon is the star more than her
  31. So, Nini has a fun story, but I wasn't won over until the ashes confetti 
  32. Okay is it a toast or a roast?
  33. I hope Kenya takes Ru's words to heart
  34. I do love that Darlene got a win
  35. Oof Juicy vs. Kenya is going to be tough
  36. Love the wind machine for this lip sync
  37. So I do love Kenya more, but I think Juicy is taking this one home
  38. And I was right
  39. Next time is a cowboy makeover challenge!
  40. Can't wait!

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
