Thoughts on 90 Day Fiancé season 12, episode 6

Time to get into fights!

  1. Josh, I will say that cold pizza for breakfast is a thing, but I don't think anyone thinks of it as "proper" breakfast food
  2. Catie, you did tell Josh that things would be ready when he arrived
  3. Catie! You don't trust Josh about money?!
  4. Also, Catie, does Josh have the money to spend $400 on sunglasses?
  5. Catie, you are being rude AF
  6. So, I think Rasit is trying, but he may be saying some rough stuff (I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt with his English)
  7. That said, Brandon is being a dick
  8. Mido...you do have to help SOMEWHAT
  9. Yeah, Mido, in Egypt I bet the men also financially provide
  10. Also, Mido, if you're a big movie star in Egypt, why do you need an acting coach?
  11. Mido, you're not even pretending to be here for Debby
  12. Oof it's uncomfy to watch amateur actors
  13. Mido, why do you do an acting class if you don't want to do group exercises?
  14. Mido, if you're a BIG Egyptian movie star, why did you have to have other jobs?
  15. I often wonder for folks like Shea if they genuinely decorate with such generic art or if they had to take down more unique pieces because of copyright stuff
  16. Shea! If you don't remember things, maybe ease up on the drinking?
  17. Shea, I do think there is a difference between being flirty and checking out another woman's naked breasts
  18. I do like that Edward was amused by Marissa's kids' prank
  19. I do get that to Edward, $50 is a big gesture, but I also get that Marissa's kid is uncomfy
  20. Marissa, it's the first day Edward is with the kiddos in the US, it's okay that things are awkward
  21. It's also fair that Edward thought things would be easier because he met them in vacation mode and kinda thought that'd be how it always is
  22. I really like Paula, but I do not think she and Tom are compatible
  23. Debby, has Mido not even met your friends over a video call?
  24. This episode is re-enforcing why I never want to do a haunted house
  25. Oop Anabelle is still giving Shea the silent treatment
  26. Anabelle, you can't blame Shea for thinking you wanted him gone
  27. That said, Shea, Anabelle clearly does actually want you close
  28. I do appreciate that Angie is like, yeah this shit is probably upsetting and confusing for Anabelle
  29. Allison...if you're telling the camera, tell Anabelle
  30. Hey, Tom, maybe Paula is using it for herself
  31. Gosh, Paula and Tom are so incompatible
  32. So I do get that Paula should adjust her perfume if Tom is literally allergic to it, but Tom gluing her perfume shut doesn't really solve anything
  33. Catie, why are you mad that Josh wants to use his savings for furniture?
  34. Catie! If you weren't ready for the immigration stuff, you really should've told Josh
  35. Marissa, have you gone over the morning routine with Edward? Your answer will affect how what advice I give
  36. Marissa, I do get being frustrated cause like you can't control your feelings, but maybe go over things with Edward first?
  37. Also, Edward may be on his phone cause he misses his family
  38. Debby can't seem to make conversation with her friend
  39. That said, Mido is being a tad odd
  40. Debby, how you deal with Mido is how you deal with a petulant toddler
  41. I wonder if Debby and Mido won't make it
  42. Next time Paula bought a $250 rock
  43. Next time Tom and Paula are not on the same financial page
  44. Next time Edward meets Marissa's parents and it sucks
  45. Next time Ashia wants to change Maxwell's eyeballs?
  46. Next time Mallorie needs to let Brandon go
  47. Next time Catie invites a past kiss to her birthday?
  48. Next time that past kiss is too invested?
  49. Next time looks messy
  50. Can't wait!

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
