15 thoughts on Stop! That! Train!

Not too long ago, I saw Stop! That! Train! with a friend! Here are some thoughts.

  1. The funniest singular scene had to be when the president is getting an increasingly large stack of briefs and other things as she walks around the Oval Office and is being updated on the increasingly silly list of who has signed on to help
  2. But, of course, a highlight for me was also Latrice Royale popping up as Barbara in job after job
  3. I also have to give a shoutout to Rachel Bloom whom I love from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
  4. The musical numbers were well recorded and edited, cleverly and hilariously written, and performed with the right mix of skill and silliness
  5. But, I do wish Jaida Essence Hall had been cast considering one of the original numbers was called "Look Over There!" which is 100% making use of the success of the catchphrase she started in her original season's political debate episode
  6. I think even more Ru girls could've been squeezed in since there were lots of passengers on the train
  7. The lack of effort into the special effects was fun and campy for me, so it fit the tone just right
  8. But, I have heard that--allegedly--AI was used in the film and that is a bummer
  9. I thought Sarah Michelle Gellar was playing herself, but she was apparently credited as just "Famous Actress"
  10. The outfits (throughout) were so fun and perfectly fit the personality and roles of the characters
  11. But, that said, I would've enjoyed a like pin or something on the train hostesses that I could get for myself
  12. I wanted a bigger payoff of the rag doll (especially in the haunted tunnel)
  13. The overall themes of friendship and being recognized for your strengths was heartwarming even if it was wrapped up in such silliness
  14. But I do sorta wish President Gagwell had suffered more consequences for the "incident" in her past (trying not to spoil too much)
  15. I had such a fun time!

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do.
