So for a D&D campaign, I'm going to be a cleric of Avandra. Now there is only so much out there of proverbs and sacred texts, so Kimi challenged me to do some research and come up with some of my own. So here we go!
First off, here is what I can find:

First off, here is what I can find:
- Luck favors the bold. Take your fate into your own hands, and Avandra smiles upon you.
- Strike back against those who would rob you of your freedom and urge others to fight for their own liberty.
- Change is inevitable, but it takes the work of the faithful to ensure that change is for the better.
Now to make up some/modify some/steal some from other sources:
- The die is cast by Avandra
- Luck be with lady Avandra tonight
- Diligence is the mother of good luck
- When flipping a coin, you know what you truly hope for
- The only constant is change
- Do not trust anyone claiming to peddle luck
- You never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from
- Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck
- We're up all night to get lucky
- You got lucky when Avandra found you
- As long as the river still runs to the sea, hey lucky you, lucky me
- It is required of everyone that the spirit within them should walk abroad among theuir fellowmen, and travel far and wide; and if that spirit goes not forth in life, it is condemned to do so after death
- Not all who wander are lost
- Adventure and change may hurt you but monotony will kill you
- Blessed are the curious for they shall have adventures
- Live your life by a compass not a clock
- Oh the places you'll go
- A ship in a harbor is safe, but it not what ships are built for
- A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
Okay so those are mostly all borrowed. Hope my GM approves.
