Another 15 lines of poetry.
My soul mists away from my body,
eyelids blink away its remnants.
The spirit observes the husk,
ponders how they were one
united being.
Were they vibrant?
Did they love?
Or, ever,
live?
Stones and bands glitter,
showing assumed unity,
and a hope for joy.
Salty and greasy
snacks delight me for a while,
but then what happens?
