Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 5, episode 5

Time for the snatch game!

  1. A double elimination isn't insane...they've done it before
  2. Cracker doesn't have long arms
  3. Shea, winning isn't everyone's dream. Some people want to just remind people who they are
  4. Why so many Jewish references?
  5. Aha Eartha Kitt is done once again
  6. Flava Flav could be hilarious
  7. So do we have two Snatch Game newbies?
  8. I have never heard of Walter Mercado, but just that photo of him tells me a lot about him
  9. I mean, is taking a risk bad?
  10. Jeffree Star could be fun
  11. India, you should have one liners already prepared
  12. Blair, you do give off Ellen
  13. I think this is the most amount of male impersonations on Snatch Game
  14. Lady Gaga has also not been successful Snatch Game character
  15. I have no idea who Tommy Dorfmann is
  16. Alexis is doing the best and Cracker and India are struggling
  17. Yeah there was no other choice besides Alexis
  18. "Gender is a construct, tear it apart. I'm stranger than fiction, better than art."
  19. I think this group is going to be better than the first
  20. Jeffery Bowyer-Chapman is so handsome
  21. This plotline of Ru and Jeffery is weird
  22. I wish Shea's clock was stuck on 4:20
  23. Ru is dying of laughter this round
  24. Cracker, you should feel terrible...you're one of the bottom two
  25. I don't know who Jeffery will pick
  26. So Blair wasn't the best, but I think she was better than Cracker and India. But if it's a bottom three then she should be there
  27. "You had me at hello, hello, hello"
  28. Wow yeah this would be India's 4th time in the bottom of 5 episodes...vote her out (assuming I'm right and she ends up in the bottom)
  29. WOW. Ru's dress is INCREDIBLE
  30. Why are you laughing at Tommy saying he's going to keep things private...it's not funny
  31. I do like Cracker's take on prom, it's funny and it's smart for her to play to her strengths (although this wasn't her strength this episode)
  32. Alexis looks lovely
  33. India, this is NOT prom
  34. Blair's outfit is fantastic
  35. Jujubee is so pretty
  36. Shea, this is a cool concept for an outfit, but I wouldn't say it's a prom look
  37. Oh yeah the feathers don't scream prom, Cracker
  38. Yeah I was bored with Cracker's Gaga
  39. It is fair to say that Blair relied too much on lesbian jokes
  40. Jujubee's reaction is top notch
  41. Shea winning seems pretty fair, but I would've picked Jujubee I think
  42. WHAT
  43. Okay 5 bottom queens is a lot of bottom queens
  44. This means people could send home Jujubee or Alexis even though they did amazing
  45. Now I do wonder if India is telling the truth (which she could be) or if she is just fighting really hard to stay
  46. Alexis has a good point that she would have campaigned for more people
  47. Alexis is DONE with India
  48. It's gonna be so funny if like it's Blair who gets voted out just because we've only focused on India and Alexis
  49. I don't really like Shea's lip sync look
  50. I wonder if Kameron Michaels is ever going to show up...she was a lip sync assassin
  51. VANJIE
  52. I love that Vanjie didn't wait for the screen to fully come up to appear
  53. I hope Vanjie isn't sending Alexis home...Alexis is so sad
  54. This lip sync feels a little lackluster
  55. Shea is winning so much money
  56. "I normally love more than just the tip"
  57. "Ooh she is a nasty ho."
  58. I do love that Alexis and Vanjie at least got to hug
  59. "Open your legs to me"
  60. To be fair, even may or may not have been plotting against you
  61. India, it was your time to go home...you were in the bottom 4 out of 5 times
  62. Is India not hugging anyone? Oh, just Shea?
  63. Ross looks so confused by India's goodbye speech
  64. Yeah Vanjie and Alexis get another hug!
  65. Next week is a ball!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
