First 2020 presidential debate stream of consciousness

It really seemed to be the only way I could phrase it. Also, these are just my very casual instant thoughts, so do not expect analysis.

  • That was such a delay in starting...Wallace probably doesn't want to do it either
  • So glad we have a Fox News host...sooooooooooo glad
  • Great he also got to decide on the topics
  • They're doing safety protocols? Tell that to the unmasked lady behind you
  • Glad they're not shaking hands
  • My god do they both look old
  • Biden's shirt doesn't look like it's super clean
  • If liberal people are endorsing this judge, I super don't understand
  • Biden just coughed, it's gonna be huge news
  • Biden isn't opposed to this justice??? Did he just say that?
  • HOW DARE DRUMPF PUT RBG'S NAME IN HIS MOUTH
  • I think there could be 100,000,000 people with pre-existing conditions but I'll wait to see a fact check on that
  • Blacking out the audience is creepy
  • Yeah, Drumpf, fight the moderator
  • Manifesto was said to make Biden sound like a crazy guy
  • Cool, Drumpf just said Pocahontas again
  • I wanted to vomit at Drumpf's tongue thing
  • Wallace is an annoyed babysitter
  • "Will you shut up, man?" WHOA
  • Btw I looked it up: "According to a new analysis by the Department of Health and Human Services, 50 to 129 million (19 to 50 percent of) non-elderly Americans have some type of pre-existing health condition." (source)
  • Biden needs to look elsewhere because his current gaze makes him look a little crazy
  • Wait are we saying Biden wouldn't have made ventilators? That seems insane
  • It is nice for Biden to point out that just having a vaccine made isn't the final step
  • Biden is going the forward hand gesture that Sophie talked about on Leverage as establishing trust and I think it might work
  • Drumpf thinks Biden is dumb...welp
  • If Biden plays more golf than you, Drumpf, that is fine because he isn't currently the president
  • No the scientists haven't said to stop wearing masks...
  • Drumpf, if really no one was gonna vote for Biden, you wouldn't be so bothered
  • Please go through what each letter of the alphabet would symbolize in recovery
  • I don't think we can actually know how many people would've died if Biden had been president
  • Man if only there was like mental health care provided by insurance for everyone...
  • I think their flag pins are different and I wonder why
  • I think NYC is fine
  • "I'm the one who brought back football"...that statement makes me so sad
  • Wait is your tax return not done yet?
  • "I was a private business people"
  • "China ate your lunch." Uhhhh...burn?
  • I mean if we can go after Biden's son can we go after Trump's adult children?
  • Yikes this talk about race isn't going to go well
  • So I don't want to suggest that Biden is great on race topics...but it's mind boggling how someone could think Drumpf is better on them
  • I mean the question wasn't about law enforcement...that's why Biden didn't bring it up
  • Noooooo not the bad apple theory
  • I don't think the protestors killed people
  • Wait racial sensitivity is a sick idea?
  • Our country is a racist place
  • It was not more violent before
  • GET MY CITY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH
  • Eh I think the dog whistles do still work (wish they didn't, but here we are)
  • A nine eleven call...
  • Well I liked the thing about psychologists coming
  • Telling racists to "standby" isn't condemning them
  • Ah yes, Biden recognizes that antifa isn't a group
  • We do not take care of our vets
  • Like it's not the best to brag about how many supreme court justices you get to replace since 2 of them were replaced because of death
  • Anyone gonna talk about how prisoners are forced to fight fires?
  • RuPaul will be glad to hear fracking won't go away
  • How many times can Drumpf say bastards?
  • That's a bummer that Biden doesn't support the Green New Deal
  • Vote!
  • I feel like Drumpf just totally lied about the ballots
  • They are already over time
  • And so an eternity came to an end

Starting my parental journey, part 9

You can  read part 1 here ,  read part 2 here ,  read part 3 here ,  read part 4 here ,  read part 5 here ,  read part 6 here ,  read part 7 here , and read part 8 here . I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

You can  read part 1 here ,  read part 2 here ,  read part 3 here ,  read part 4 here ,  read part 5 here , read part 6 here , and read part 7 here . I have begun birth control again. Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
