Thoughts on The Family Chantel season 2, episode 4

So glad to have this stress reliever the day before the election.

  1. Royal's voice reminds me of a muppet
  2. Alejandro's voice is very sexy to me
  3. Are we going to get to the part where Alejandro got married just for a visa?
  4. Ah well it seems like he didn't get married for a visa, but is getting divorced
  5. But yes let's have another show where people overreact to someone's divorce taking a while
  6. Alejandro, you can't expect them to not have more questions
  7. Chantel, Nicole didn't ruin this marriage
  8. Chantel is so rude. "They can do bad together"
  9. Pedro's mom is going to flip
  10. Chantel's hood is gigantic
  11. Nicole, if you didn't want Pedro do find out you should've told him yourself or told Alejandro not to tell him
  12. Aha now we finally find out about Pedro's dad
  13. Yikes, it hurts to find out that you're the other family
  14. I love how Pedro is hyperfocused on the painted beard
  15. Nicole, because this is all on TV, you do need to tell your mother
  16. Chantel has 0 chill
  17. Gringos from Gringoland
  18. Why does Chantel's screen have that weird split down the middle?
  19. Chantel is such a jerk at asking why her mom is excited to meet Angenette's parents
  20. I have a hard time believing that Winter never expressed these feelings before
  21. Wait was this trip like 50% seeing Alejandro?
  22. Coraima is finally getting her braces off
  23. Ooooh cute orthodontist
  24. I love that Nicole calls getting braces trend setting
  25. Yes, please talk with the ridiculous mouth opener thing
  26. Yes, Coraima freaks out and it's very funny
  27. This orthodontist has no idea why he's here
  28. Coraima, you did want Pedro to dump Chantel for you though
  29. Nicole, you know how your mom is going to react
  30. Those are new dental instruments, right? It's just weird cause they didn't show the transition
  31. Yes dramatic parking lot meeting
  32. Winter corrects "bitch" to "dumbass bitch"
  33. Chantel, you did make your point clear before
  34. Chantel, you are the one who is not listening
  35. Winter, I honestly can't understand how you can get over him lying about having another kid
  36. Winter is having some great self-awareness but you also gotta put some of that on your parents
  37. I do think Chantel loves Winter
  38. Wait wait, did Royal not know about this tracker app? Honestly it still makes me concerned about Royal but yeah obviously could be a bad sign about her too
  39. Angenette is adorable
  40. Why isn't Winter here?
  41. Karen, you can't tell Pedro to keep his nose out of other people's relationships when you have your nose in everyone's
  42. I can't wait to hear Nicole impersonate Karen during her saboteur speech
  43. Chantel, maybe Angenette is lying or maybe Royal is lying
  44. Wow Chantel just went and said Royal doesn't trust you
  45. I liked Angenette's first dress better
  46. Angenette just dissolving into tears is so sad
  47. Oh Angenette, I'm so sorry both about the miscarriage and about Royal not believing you
  48. Also, Royal, if she's two weeks pregnant and has been here for more than two weeks then you do the math
  49. Yes I can't wait for Lidia to destroy Alejandro
  50. And we head to the Philippines!

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
