Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race Untucked season 13, episode 1

I've been forgetting Untucked!

  1. It must've been a trip to try and piece together what was going on
  2. Rosé doesn't seem bitter
  3. Tamisha is such a strong person
  4. The Porkchop was such a mean trick
  5. I wonder which group felt more bonded at first: the winners or the Porkchopped?
  6. It is still so unfair that Denali had to lip sync in ice skates
  7. Olivia is so talented
  8. It is interesting to see how many times queens have auditioned
  9. Has there really never been someone from Phoenix?
  10. It is interesting to hear how COVID has affected the world of drag
  11. It's reassuring to see the whole crew in masks and shields
  12. I want to hug Symone
  13. I forgot Tina was in a boy band!
  14. LaLa is thirsty but no shame
  15. Tina is also thirsty
  16. I get being nervous about getting in your own head and not coming across how you want to
  17. I forgot that the different groups originally banded together to get rid of the other group
  18. Little do you know, Kandy, so many weeks go by where no one goes home
  19. I can't believe I didn't think to do Untucked before
  20. On to the next one!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Starting my parental journey, part 8

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
