Thoughts on 90 Day Fiance season 8, episode 19

Tell all time!

  1. Brandon, you are so far past being a mama's boy
  2. Rebecca, if you're not looking forward to doing tell alls, why do you do the show?
  3. Mike is so tall
  4. I do think Mike and Natalie used to love each other
  5. Andrew, you know goddamn well why things happened the way they did
  6. I love all these cuts of people gossiping about the other couples
  7. Tarik, I get concerned when you use words like "safer"
  8. I'm glad Tarik and Hazel are being safe considering they were exposed to COVID
  9. I don't care, Andrew
  10. We were all shocked, Shaun
  11. That was such a long pause, Natalie
  12. Natalie is so pretty
  13. Natalie is lying
  14. Mike, you had to know this question was coming
  15. "That's cold, bro"
  16. I would be weirded out if my fiance left for five or six hours the night before our wedding and didn't say anything
  17. Mike, if you don't get phone service that is even more reason to tell someone where you're going
  18. I wish Yara's friends and family could meet their baby
  19. Ooh Yara shoved Jovi off after she saw the strip club scene
  20. OH JOVI, your friend did not force you
  21. Yes, clearly this was a private dance
  22. Jovi, you should talk about boundaries with Yara
  23. Jovi, you lose so many points for having a double standard
  24. Gwenn rocks
  25. John is the go-go lie detector man apparently
  26. Tarik has to tell Jovi what to say
  27. Julia thinks it's natural to go to a strip club but would kill Brandon if he went
  28. So Yara likes to be loud, huh
  29. Brandon did not do well standing up to his parents
  30. I never realized it before but Betty and Ron look alike
  31. Being a stripper isn't a bad thing though, y'all
  32. Julia, you have shit friends
  33. Julia did not ask to work on a farm
  34. I wonder at what point in the show this reunion was taped
  35. Betty did go into "mom guilt mode." Rebecca is correct
  36. Betty, making the appointment without talking to her was crossing a line
  37. MIKE
  38. Does Mike not have friends? That's a red flag
  39. Whoop seems like Mike planned to dump Natalie days before the wedding
  40. Who is interviewing Tamara here?
  41. So Mike's mom wanted Tamara to object to the wedding
  42. I mean Trish isn't wrong...Mike and Natalie are a disaster
  43. I feel like Trish and I use sketchy differently
  44. Okay, Trish, but you saw Mike treat her badly too, right?
  45. Rebecca is allowed to do what she wants to her body
  46. I love how into Rebecca Zied is
  47. Who tells Natalie to fix her nose?
  48. Julia, Rebecca wanted to get rid of extra skin that she had from losing weight
  49. "Your opinion sounds like judgment"
  50. Hazel is totally on her phone
  51. Rebecca, you gotta calm down
  52. "That's just her face, mom"
  53. Rebecca, again, calm down
  54. This sounds like a funny moment that Rebecca blew out of proportion
  55. Amira is so nervous to see Andrew
  56. Wow there are so many random rugs on the floor
  57. Andrew, you don't have to be in the same room
  58. Andrew is having a fit
  59. Andrew, they can't force Amira to have a conversation with you
  60. Next time we get to talk to Amira
  61. Next time we get more gossip
  62. Next time we get more Minty drama
  63. Next time Andrew tries to force Andrew to talk to him
  64. Next time we get to meet Sarah
  65. Can't wait!

Starting my parental journey, part 2

You can read part 1 here . Yesterday I began the next step of my parental journey. Ironically, it was starting birth control. This medicine helps prepare my ovaries for the egg retrieval process. It was weird taking the pill to prepare for my fertility journey because you typically think of the pill as ensuring you don't get pregnant. Obviously, I'm not getting pregnant now, but I am getting ready for that eventual possibility. There have also been various bureaucratic issues that I've been dealing with. Mostly insurance stuff (as I'm sure comes as no surprise). But, thanks to a new benefit at work that started 1/1/24, my journey will be (mostly) covered. While, again, there were some bureaucratic hurdles that I had to overcome in order for this to all work out, I am immensely glad that it did work out. I am nervous though. In part I'm nervous about a lot of the practicalities of this step in my journey. For instance, I will have to inject myself with various medica...

15 ways to support me on my parental journey

I posted yesterday and in August, 2023 about starting my parental journey. If you're wondering how you can support me, here are some ideas I have at the moment (though these may change and also don't feel pressured to do any of these things). Check in via text or DM so I can respond at my leisure (but please don't be insulted if I take a long time to respond) Help with arranging food for me (I know that when I get overwhelmed, I often have really awful eating habits) Offer to help with apartment chores (I may turn you down, but the offer will mean a lot) Walk Hoban (I realize only some people can do this, but the relief of lightening the responsibility of Hoban will likely be welcome) Be understanding if I have to cancel plans (I hope to still be somewhat social during this time, but I cannot guarantee how I'm going to feel) Drive me to appointments (I have the retrieval itself covered, but I have other appointments that will happen leading up to it so if you have the...
