Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 7, episode 2

Snatch Game!

  1. Just say you think Trinity is huge competition
  2. Trinity is pretty funny
  3. Welp I don't know who the guest judge is (I'm so not hip)
  4. Okay so no, you can't block the other top All Star
  5. Yes double Snatch Game!
  6. I hope Yvie can get some redemption
  7. Pretty sure Tyson is a convicted rapist so I don't like that he's being impersonated here
  8. Raja's look as Madame is amazing
  9. Gosh this is such a nice change of pace from the last Snatch Game
  10. Jinkx is winning it for me
  11. Monét looks incredible
  12. Yvie's look is so fun
  13. Raja looks nice, but the look is not for me
  14. Trinity is adorable but it's not as wow as Monét's
  15. The Vivienne looks fantastic
  16. Jinkx's look is cute but, again, not as wow as Monét's
  17. Jaida looks incredible and boy can she kick high
  18. Shea looks really good, but it's not as wow as Monét's (guess you can tell my favorite)
  19. I'm kinda bored of this lip sync
  20. Jinkx HAD to win this week
  21. Yeah I'd give it to Shea too
  22. I love that they have the "You Better Vote" sign
  23. Next time is the ball challenge
  24. Next time there is more talk of alliances/Survivoresque strategy
  25. Can't wait!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
