Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 7, episode 6

Girl group time!

  1. Oh Jinkx, c'mon
  2. Yeah, seriously the Vivienne
  3. I like Raja and Jinkx conspiring
  4. Can Jinkx and Raja give stars to each other?
  5. Of course Yvie gets one of the extra stars
  6. Huh I wasn't really expecting Jaida
  7. We're midway through?
  8. Man, I don't know all of these people Ru is listing...I've never been hip, have I?
  9. Oh Ru is just letting them be a free for all?
  10. Well that was an orderly free for all
  11. Ah some drama for group selections
  12. Thanks for the fun fact, Trinity
  13. MSTR is a better group name than The Other Girls
  14. "Will you be singing or rapping?" "Yes"
  15. The Other Girls seems really incoherent
  16. Jinkx was a LARPer!
  17. Strippers are professionals, Trinity
  18. Jinkx and Yvie's entrance was funny
  19. "We took lemons and made lemon juice"
  20. Jaida and Jinkx having their stars kiss was adorable
  21. I like Ru's look but don't love it
  22. Tove Lo's look is insane and I love it (though I admittedly am not cool enough to know who she is)
  23. MSTR is fun but I'm not getting their whole story of having one member go solo
  24. Oh I guess MSTR modified the story a bit...
  25. MSTR had a more cohesive look
  26. I don't really like poop jokes...sorry Jaida (I love you though!)
  27. Yvie's character didn't super come through, but the rest did
  28. Oooh a Dolly Parton challenge
  29. Monét looks great
  30. Trinity's dress is fun, but her makeup isn't quite right for me
  31. Shea brings such a cool Dolly to the stage
  32. Raja does a great job
  33. The Vivienne's face feels a bit too pale to me (though I really am not a Dolly expert)
  34. Jaida looks beautiful (as always)
  35. Jinkx is really embodying Dolly
  36. I love Yvie's look
  37. Oh finally someone wore something on the runway that they can lip sync in
  38. I think Yvie is winning this one (guess I'm wrong)
  39. So is the Vivienne gonna block Jinkx? (I mean she should block Jinkx or Jaida since they have two stars)
  40. Yep Jinkx is blocked again
  41. No, you're not sorry
  42. Next time Jinkx is peeved
  43. Next time is a design challenge inspired by a Ru look
  44. Next time Monét and Trinity plot
  45. Can't wait!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
