Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 16, episode 12

Time for a bizarre challenge (it's a room design challenge)!

  1. I mean I did think Q was going to win the last challenge
  2. Wow Nymphia going in
  3. Norvina looks gorgeous
  4. This is a hilarious mini-challenge
  5. Lol is that little table $5k worth of makeup?
  6. Ugh Plane is annoying me
  7. Oof this is real talk about bathroom gender inclusion
  8. Aw I don't like watching Plane cry
  9. Ru looks great
  10. Morphine looks gorgeous
  11. I love Q's outfit but the hair isn't my favorite
  12. Dawn looks elegant
  13. Nymphia looks good
  14. Plane's look isn't my favorite
  15. Sapphira looks great as usual
  16. So the Naughty Potty had a solid concept but it wasn't my favorite
  17. The Fart Museum suffers from me not liking fart humor, but painting Bruno is hilarious
  18. Sapphira has an incredible voice
  19. It would've been funnier if Carson was Didi and Michelle was Dada
  20. I think the speakeasy was the most successful (but I'm also super pro-Sapphira in general)
  21. Wow I thought Nymphia would be in the bottom with Morphine
  22. So Morphine is winning this lip sync, right?
  23. Ah Dawn, I wanted to see more of you
  24. Next week is the makeover challenge
  25. Can't wait!

I've officially begun my second cycle. On Wednesday, I had a virtual appointment, yesterday I had my baseline ultrasound, and today I began injections again. On Wednesday, I expressed my concern about my weight and was told not to fret about it for this cycle but that I should work on it for my health. I got told some vague things about measuring my food by volume and weight and that being the key the weight loss (idk it sounded weird to me). But other than that my appointment went well and I really liked the PA I met with. Overall, she was supportive and encouraging me to advocate for myself. Yesterday, I had to get up earlier than normal (6am) so I could make it to my ultrasound at 7am (I have asked for future ultrasounds to be at 8am). I got weighed (ugh), had my blood drawn, and t...

Now, that may sound like I'm bailing out of my fertility journey, but it's actually the opposite. In order to get everything ready for the egg retrieval, I need to hop on birth control for a little bit and then hop off. It feels a bit odd to be taking oral birth control, have a birth control arm implant, and be getting ready for an egg retrieval--but that's how it goes (for me at least--getting to keep the arm implant is rare or so I'm told). People have asked me how I'm feeling about this round of egg retrieval and honestly, I haven't thought about it much yet. I am focused on a big stressful event for work and then C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--basically, Chicago's Comic-Con) which I attend every year. Because of these two events (one stressful, one fun), I del...
