We're getting so close!

Carving a swamp monster pumpkin (second from right in the photo below)
Wearing a costume with my dog (did it at least twice!)
Going trick-or-treating with friends (especially when I was Bellatrix Lestrange)
Carving pumpkins at Swat freshman year (we kept them way too long)
Throwing a Halloween party last year (I had so much fun with the snacks)
Watching a friend sing at a Halloween party in Ireland (I don't remember what, just that it was lovely)
One guy getting my carb costume (he even knew which carb!)
Seeing political decorations around my neighborhood (I expect more this year)
Sitting on the porch of my first apartment and handing out candy
Taking in the epic Halloween decoration street in my neighborhood (I hope they still go all out)
Decorating the yard with my brother (we even made a vampire ostrich collage thing)
Watching The Nightmare Before Christmas (too many years to count)
Setting up all of the Halloween decorations that had been mailed to my friend and roommate during my semester in Cork, Ireland (she later mailed me some of my own)
Watching the Halloween parade in Galway (seriously epic)
Being one of the Spice Girls (Ginger Spice to be specific)

15 facts about my dad

Just been thinking about some lighthearted facts I know about my dad lately. When he was young, he had a goldfish named Lysander He introduced me to Star Trek At Christmas, he would tear up at It's a Wonderful Life He used to send me articles from his Yahoo email account that he thought I'd like We used to play a game called "Nightmare" where he would lie down and we'd jump around (and sometimes on) him He would clip possible recipes for us to try out of newspapers and magazines We bought him a Paddington Bear to take on trips because we feared he'd be lonely and he always took it He had teddy bears for three different holidays We once had such a hilariously difficult time building a gingerbread house that when some frosting ended up on the counter, I plopped a gumdrop on it and we laughed until we cried He and his sister were born about 11 months apart We would try recipes from Top Chef He kept gifts I made him, even when they weren't great At Christmas, ...
