15 things I associate with my beloved cousin

My cousin Alice was someone very special to me. Here are 15 things that make me think of her (in no particular order).

  1. Frogs (my brother and I used to catch them in the creek by her house before releasing them again)
  2. Violin (her chosen instrument)
  3. Ring bearers (I was a ringbearer in her first wedding/commitment ceremony)
  4. Purple (her favorite color)
  5. Growing my hair out (when I was a kid, her hair was down to her lower back)
  6. Wiggling my nose like a rabbit (she taught me)
  7. Rottweilers (she had a beloved one named Taz when I was a kid)
  8. Telling jokes (she'd always ask me as a kid to tell her a joke)
  9. Dollhouses (I remember playing with her as a kid)
  10. Organizing (she used to do it professionally)
  11. Arts and crafts (I always have admired her creativity)
  12. WGBH (she used to work there)
  13. Pesto (I remember her making it from basil she grew)
  14. Gardening and the outdoors (her homes always had beautiful outdoor space)
  15. Love (she and her wife were one of my earliest examples of a loving marriage)

This is meant to be a related piece to  "15 Things You Find in Your Dad's Hospice Room" and "15 Things You Find When You Clean Out Your Dad’s Apartment" .
