Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 10, episode 12

Time for the finale!

  1. Yes with the Star Wars reference, Irene
  2. It does feel too soon for a finale
  3. I did think it would be Mistress coming back, but I do love Kerri
  4. I mean, yeah Aja, the queens will probably try to be shady, but it's unclear how that would be beneficial to them
  5. Kerri, it's specifically the fiercest lip sync competition (loving your light saber hair piece though)
  6. Irene, Lydia is quite a strong lip syncer
  7. I love Ru's voluminous look
  8. Aja's look has piqued my curiosity
  9. Bosco looks great
  10. Daya's eyes are so cool
  11. I like Ginger's look
  12. Irene's look reminds me a tad of Bosco's runway from last week
  13. Jorgeous's look has great movement
  14. Lydia looks incredible
  15. Kerri is gorgeous
  16. Lol a seeded bracket seems wild for this
  17. But thanks to Irene for the explanation!
  18. Omg I love the P!NK song that's up for grabs
  19. Okay so Ginger definitely won that (and Ru agrees)
  20. Lol it is pretty funny that they keep making the queens stand up and down for the announcement of the next match up
  21. Irene, I love you, but you're doing too much
  22. Yeah Lydia was the winner for sure
  23. I expected a bigger hair Ruveal from Aja, but her outfit Ruveal is fabulous
  24. Jorgeous is such a natural
  25. Bosco was flashier, but in some ways I was feeling Daya's performance more (though Bosco winning isn't a huge surprise)
  26. Wait Bosco has to go back to back?
  27. I think Ginger won that
  28. Lol Jorgeous knows she and Lydia are Ru's favorites
  29. I think Jorgeous is the winner of this one (and Ru agrees)
  30. Lol they had Lydia go back for like one minute before everyone had to go back to the main stage
  31. So that was a great final lip sync, but I really think Ginger is going to be the winner
  32. I LOVE Angeria's look
  33. Condragulations to Ginger!
  34. The applause seems lackluster...maybe because they used to do this in front of a huge crowd?
  35. Great season!

15 facts about my dad

Just been thinking about some lighthearted facts I know about my dad lately. When he was young, he had a goldfish named Lysander He introduced me to Star Trek At Christmas, he would tear up at It's a Wonderful Life He used to send me articles from his Yahoo email account that he thought I'd like We used to play a game called "Nightmare" where he would lie down and we'd jump around (and sometimes on) him He would clip possible recipes for us to try out of newspapers and magazines We bought him a Paddington Bear to take on trips because we feared he'd be lonely and he always took it He had teddy bears for three different holidays We once had such a hilariously difficult time building a gingerbread house that when some frosting ended up on the counter, I plopped a gumdrop on it and we laughed until we cried He and his sister were born about 11 months apart We would try recipes from Top Chef He kept gifts I made him, even when they weren't great At Christmas, ...

15 things to do in your dad's hospital room

This is meant to be a related piece to  "15 Things You Find in Your Dad's Hospice Room" and "15 Things You Find When You Clean Out Your Dad’s Apartment" . Tell yourself you can panic later (you'll likely never find the time to, but it'll help) Wear a mask because he's immunocompromised (and besides, you've been out trying to live a life which means you could've caught something) Turn on the Olympics because he can't use a remote anymore and no one has helped him (besides, it's always on these days and he at least used to enjoy it) Practice your sanitized answers to his questions (he won't remember them, but no need to alarm him about in his life, your life, or the world for even a moment) Try not to be in the way of the nurses (you'll fail) Sit on the bed because there is no where else to (and realize your arm is resting against his urine jug) Worry that his bed should be alarmed when he gets up to go to the bathroom (he make...
