Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 18, episode 3

  1. I just noticed that Mandy wears a mango earring in her confessional look
  2. Kenya and Mia are adorable
  3. Like, Jane, I do get being excited for a comedy challenge...but you have already been shining without one tbh
  4. Juicy, you KNEW there would be comedy and acting challenges...there always are
  5. Oof the queens are trying to sabotage Athena (IMO)
  6. Myki is a supportive scene partner
  7. Is Discord really unaware of her walk?
  8. Okay, so I'm excited to see an animal-themed runway, but I do also wonder if we're just appealing to furries at this point
  9. The butter churning sketch made me smile, but not LOL
  10. Athena and Briar don't have great chemistry (IMO)
  11. Okay, in the lipstick sketch, everyone was reading cue cards, but Kenya beating up a rag doll was funny
  12. Ciara and Jane did have decent chemistry
  13. I'm quite impressed with Juicy!
  14. Okay, how was no one playing saxophone at the end?
  15. Wait did Ciara say she worked for the CIA?
  16. Okay, Ru really should've said "Up FURst"
  17. Discord, there's no way you could've known, but alligators are my favorite animal so I actually think this is pretty cool (also, omg the eyes on the purse blink)
  18. Mia looks super cute, but I want more animal
  19. I really like Mandy, but, again, I kinda want more animal
  20. Darlene, I love it
  21. Athena is STUNNING
  22. I love Briar's face and mask, but the ribbons on the shoes are taking me out of the fantasy
  23. Vita looks fantastic
  24. Nini looks good, but I don't think it's the most memorable (but the noise maker was funny)
  25. Kenya looks incredible, but, again, I want more animal
  26. Ciara's look made me say "Whoa!"
  27. Jane looks beautiful, but, while I know her goal was to be more abstracted, I want more literal animal lol
  28. Myki is super cute, but, again, I'd love the look to be more animalistic!
  29. Juicy's look's movement was perfection (and definitely points for creativity)
  30. Michelle, Kennedy was a phoenix
  31. Well done, Juicy
  32. Okay, as these two queens take elements of their outfits off, I do have to say that I love that Mandy has a deer tail
  33. It looked like Briar didn't quite know her words (but this could be a buffering issue on my end)
  34. Aw, I'm sorry to see Mandy go
  35. Next time is a joint design challenge!

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
