15 questions I'd like to be asked on a date

I find many folks struggle with what to talk about on dates. This list is questions I'd like to be asked on a first or early date.

  1. Do you still have any toys or games form childhood? What are they?
  2. If you could travel anywhere in the world without having to worry about cost, logistics, etc., where would it be?
  3. What are some creative things you like to do?
  4. When you and your friends get together, what do you all like to do?
  5. Where is your favorite place you've traveled to?
  6. Do you have a dream job? What is it?
  7. If you could go on any kind of date without having to worry about cost, logistics, etc., what would you want to do?
  8. What is your top love language?
  9. When you visit somewhere new, do you like getting souvenirs? If so, what do you like to get?
  10. Where is somewhere you loved as a kid?
  11. Do you prefer texting, calls, or messaging?
  12. If you could safely domesticate any animal and keep them as a pet, without having to worry about cost, logistics, etc., which animal would you pick?
  13. What is your favorite flower?
  14. When have you felt proud?
  15. Where do you remember going on field trips to as a child?

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
