Thoughts on 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life season 5, episode 14

Time for progress (of one kind or another). 

  1. Sophie, it's pretty clear that Pedro is done
  2. Hey, Sophie, don't say that everyone looks like Pedro from the back
  3. OMG Colt is getting his mail to Philip's?
  4. Just noticed Philip's grandpa shirt
  5. Colt, MOVE OUT! It's wild that you were here in the first place
  6. COLT! THE NEXT LOGICAL STEP IS BEING ON YOUR OWN! JFC!
  7. Tony, you could've prepped your parents like JUST A BIT
  8. I do agree with Tony that this went about as well as it could have
  9. I did guess that Tony was giving Vanja a key, but wow I thought it was like a spare key not having Vanja move in
  10. Lol it'll be funny if one of Wayne's daughters end up dating Jamal
  11. So, Wayne, some of it is skill because you have to hit the pins in a certain order
  12. Um so why does this lawyer have an office behind a spiritual shop?
  13. I'm gonna be real, I'm scared of this lawyer
  14. To be fair, Gino, the first lawyer you met with TRIED SO HARD to tell you the risks
  15. Well, TECHNICALLY, Jasmine's child was born in A wedlock...
  16. So, while it does seem like Pedro WAS online...but I will say that SO OFTEN those online indicators are wrong
  17. Julia is chaotic and I love it
  18. Sophie, if you get to the point of wanting to be in a relationship with Pedro, get back in touch, but, for now, leave him alone
  19. So, Pedro, you have every right to upset, but like you and Sophie JUST met in person...it's a little wild to be like "I treated you better than anyone every will again," cause like...you treated her that for a few days? You're saying she can't find someone to be nice to her for even like two weeks straight in person?
  20. So I do think that Wayne was trying to be sweet when he got a sketch done based on of a photo of Kim and Jamal, but it would hit me weird (as it did for Kim)
  21. Kim, I'm so sorry that you're in your 50s and no man has ever cooked just for you
  22. Kim, Wayne said he wasn't dating anyone else, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the intention of dating anyone else
  23. Gino, be real, did your lawyer sell you this pheromone spray?
  24. Hey, uh, is Lexi even 18?
  25. In my defense, the server did check her ID
  26. Gino, your age is far from the biggest red flag about you
  27. So Gino, to be fair, did say he WANTED to be a cheetah, not that he WAS cheetah
  28. But Lexi saying Gino was more like a platypus was hilarious
  29. Side note, I hate Gino, but I would enjoy this location for a date
  30. Lexi, it's a red flag when a man you just met wants to meet your kid right away
  31. Lexi, genuinely, what do you see in Gino?
  32. This girls' trip has lasted FOREVER
  33. I think Liz has been as real as she could be with Villa as she navigated her own wants and needs
  34. Like, yeah, Villa can still be super bummed, but Liz is sharing her truth as gently as I think can be done while still being clear
  35. Wait, does Villa not live in the Dominican Republic?
  36. Side note, I think Liz has made some real progress and I'm proud of her
  37. Villa, did you really fall in love with Liz? Like how much time did you spend together?
  38. Wayne's reframe from baggage to history is appreciated
  39. Philip didn't know Cortney is allergic to seafood?
  40. Welp I guess finding out about her seafood allergy was the last thing about Cortney that Philip needed to know before proposing
  41. I don't think I'd buy property with a partner until we had a wedding date set
  42. Tony, it's wild that you want to buy property with Vanja yet don't think that is a commitment
  43. I hope Wayne and Kim can at least be friends
  44. Next time is the tell all!

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
