Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 11, episode 2

Time for bracket 1, episode 2!

  1. Oh wow, I forgot this had been Dawn's first time in the top
  2. I love Mystique giving a pep talk to Lucky
  3. I am glad Mystique is getting a point, but like I said before, queens should give Morphine their points
  4. A'Keria is correct that Morphine deserves lots of points
  5. Okay so everyone has at least one point
  6. Glad that A'Keria clocked what Morphine said about her point
  7. Wait, I need to see more of Ru's shoes cause right now the tiny bit we do see is reminding me of Darlene's shoes that Michelle hated
  8. I disagree with Morgan, I feel like having a big butt makes it more difficult to get the underwear on
  9. Lol that Ru just called the challenge a tie so everyone could move on with their day
  10. Oop Dawn snatched the piano bar right from Morphine
  11. A "hairless duck" with "no feathers" is a hilarious sound bite
  12. I love that Lucky demands a dictionary
  13. Dawn, you are rubbing it in Morphine's face
  14. I'm a Mystique fan
  15. Did Ru get that fly on her first try?
  16. Dawn is rude
  17. Yikes! Morgan and A'Keria headbutted each other (on accident)!
  18. WOW! DAWN'S LOOK IS A WOW! ALL OF IT! EVEN THE MAKEUP!
  19. A'Keria is giving slightly dangerous opulence with those stunning spikes
  20. I LOVE Mystique's look--I just wish she'd take off her overcoat for a moment (and OMG how did I not notice the cowboy hat on her purse the first time?!)
  21. I do really like Morgan's hair and makeup, but the outfit (while quite good) is not measuring up to the previous 3 looks for me
  22. Morphine is beautiful--this we know--I just wish she'd added a TOUCH of the orange lining on like her belt just to tie it together a bit
  23. Lucky's outfit is just the most fun and so impressively constructed, but I wish the makeup highlighted her face more as I find myself looking more at the clothes than at her face
  24. Sorry, Carson, was the challenge to be eleganza or just on theme? Cause I don't remember the challenge stating the looks had to be high fashion
  25. Lucky is hilarious and clever
  26. Dawn is, once again, definitely a top, but I could've seen the other top being Lucky (that said, A'Keria' was also amazing)
  27. I wish A'Keria's Ruveal was more impactful
  28. I personally liked Dawn's lip sync more, but I'm probably biased by the fact that I liked Dawn's look more
  29. Again, no preview for next week?
  30. Why not?

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
