15 ideas for a World Cup Finals party

  2. Foosball
  3. Face paint stations (if need be, assign guests randomly to the two final teams)
  4. Bingo cards for things that COULD happen during the match
  5. Soccer ball disposable plates etc.
  6. Every guest proposes a new rule for the World Cup and guests vote on which is they would add (they will, in good faith, not vote for their own suggestion)
  7. Every guest proposes a new kind of break for the World Cup players to take and guests vote on which is their favorite (they will, in good faith, not vote for their own suggestion)
  8. Every guest proposes a mascot for the two final teams and guests vote on the best fits for each team (they will, in good faith, not vote for their own suggestions)
  9. Serve popular drinks from both of the final two countries
  10. Decorate with little flags of the final two countries
  11. Teach guests fun phrases and/or slang from the final two countries
  12. Play music from the final two countries before the match and/or during hydration breaks
  13. Instead of a drinking game, an exercise game (e.g. instead of taking a shot when the team you're rooting for gets a red card, do 15 jumping jacks)
  14. A shorter version of the game Chronology, but just about the World Cup

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm also angry about a lot of things going on in my city, in my country, and in the world. My dad chose alcohol over me and my brother. There is no way around this fact. Yes, when I am less angry, I can be more reasonabl and recognize that addiction is a disesase and he didn't have control over it. But, right now, I want to be angry. I want to get to be angry. I want to get to feel my feelings. I don't want to rationalize, I don't want to be reasonable, I don't want to be fair....
