15 ideas for themes of future Survivor seasons

Some seasons of survivor (aka season 27) have a theme (aka "Blood vs. Water" where every player is related to, by blood or marriage, to another player). Here are 15 themes I think could be pretty great to watch (side note, I could not find a compilation of logos that included season 51...sigh):

  1. Arctic: Season that leaves Fiji for a frigid environment (obviously, players would be given more supplies and/or shelter for this season)
  2. Break the Record: Season where anyone who breaks a previous challenge record immunity even if someone else is the last standing (e.g. two players could beat a previous record with one still doing better than the other--in that case, both would win immunity)
  3. From Beyond: Season where eliminated players (before jury begins) are able to bestow a certain number of advantages to remaining players where there is a reward system for if the eliminated players gives an advantage to the ultimate sole survivor. I would imagine it would be a sliding scale (meaning something along the lines of the first three eliminated players have 1 to give out, the next 3 have 2 to give out, etc.)
  4. Inheritance: Season where every players selects a previous player to "inherit" an advantage from without knowing what the previous players' are passing down (these advantages would of course be done in consultation with the producers so they are roughly as powerful as each other)
  5. The Jury: Season where all eliminated contestants end up on the jury and get to watch (though cannot comment on) challenges
  6. Next Generation: Season made up of players who are children, niblings, or grandchildren of previous players
  7. Reignite: Season made up of players who were voted out first on their season (and only appeared on that season)
  8. Roulette: Seasons where a roulette wheel determines when there will be tribe swaps (I'd say after the first tribal, it's like a 1 in 25 chance, but the chance gets upped after each elimination until the merge)
  9. Sabotage: Season where tribes have a chance to give other tribes a disadvantage. Tribes also must select one of their kinds of blocks. If a tribe is given a disadvantage that they have a block for, the disadvantage does not take effect. For this, I'd imagine at least three tribes. Additionally, each tribe would be told they have the same total number of disadvantages, the same number of disadvantages by sub-category (e.g. sustenance), and the same number of blocks for each kind of disadvantage
  10. Second Chances: Season where all players got second place in their season (and have not appeared in any other season
  11. Stronger than Before: Season where all players are previous players who were medically evacuated (Google says that's 20)
  12. Tied Together: Players are told of a member on another tribe who cannot vote them out. However, if their partner is voted out, the other player cannot participate in the next immunity challenge
  13. Villains: Season made up of villainous previous players
  14. Winners' Wisdom: Season where there is a council of past winners (perhaps 3 or 5) that can bestow a limited number of advantages to current players. Current players only find out about the council when they are given a gift or told by someone who has received a gift)
  15. Wisdom of the Past: Season where challenges were designed (in large part) by past memorable challenge beasts

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
