15 minutes of a Sterek fanfic, part 5 NSFW

You can read part 1 here, part 2 here, part 3 here, and part 4 here. Note that this gets a little NSFW.

"I knew you'd be here," Stiles said quietly before looking up to meet Derek's gaze.

Derek wasn't sure how Stiles knew he was there, but in the moment he didn't care. Everything he had wanted to say to Stiles went out of his head. Stiles was looking at him like he was the only thing in the world and Derek almost couldn't take it.

"So," said Stiles, taking another step into his room, "is this where you tell me it's too dangerous?"

Derek again wasn't sure how Stiles could know him so well, but he supposed that Stiles truly did know him that well. That felt dangerous in and of itself.

Derek tugged at his leather jacket, unsure of what to say.

"Or is this the part where you lie to me and say you're not interested?" Stiles stared up at Derek, his eyes almost daring Derek to try and lie. Yet there was an openness in that look too, one that Derek couldn't help but feel his heart swell at.

Derek was across the room in the blink of an eye, gently placing one hand on Stiles's chest and pushing him up against the door.

"Or is this the part where I kiss you back," Derek said quietly before taking Stiles's mouth with his.

Stiles's hands immediately went for Derek's hair, pulling him as close as he could. The kiss was deep almost immediately, their bodies sliding together like they were made for each other. Stiles broke the kiss to lean his head back and gasp. Derek immediately put his lips to Stiles's neck and sucked. In the moment, he wanted the whole world to know Stiles was his. Stiles gasped and tugged at Derek's hair, pulling him back into a sloppier kiss, a more desperate kiss.

As their bodies slid together, Derek placed his hands on Stiles's butt and gently squeezed. Stiles took the hint and jumped up, letting Derek catch his legs and wrap them around him. Derek knew he wouldn't last much longer, this whole scene was out of one of his dreams that he never dared think could happen.

"What do you want?" asked Derek in a gruff voice.

Stiles blinked at him, his pupils blown wide. "This," he said quietly before squeezing his legs around Derek even tighter. Derek practically growled before taking kissing Stiles again deeply. The two ground against each other like they had waited for this for so long--perhaps they had. They both came at the same time, grunting into each other's mouth, swallowing the sound of the other hungrily.

They broke apart, panting. Derek slowly let Stiles slide his legs back down to the ground. He leaned his forehead against Stiles's and smiled. Stiles beamed at him, "I think that we should probably get cleaned up."

Derek huffed a laugh.

"You can borrow anything you find in my dresser," Stiles said before excusing himself to the bathroom.

Stiles would smell like him now. Derek smiled at that, but then a stab of fear hit him. Stiles would smell like him now. Every werewolf would know. Derek had made Stiles a target. They had just warded off one unruly pack, but how long they'd be gone, Derek didn't know. How could he have done this? How could he have put Stiles at risk and for what? Because Derek wanted him? No, it was more than that, but it didn't matter. Stiles was at risk now and it was all Derek's fault. These swirling thoughts were causing him to panic and he made for the window he came in from.

Just then, Stiles returned dressed in pajamas and holding out another pair of sweatpants, "I thought--oh."

Derek was half way out the window. "Stiles, I--"

"No," said Stiles firmly. "You don't get to do this."

"Stiles--"

"No. If that--" Stiles gestured at where they had been just moments ago, "was all you wanted then I'd tell you to get out and not look back, but see, the thing is Derek, that I know you want more than that. So you don't get to just run."

"I'm not just running," muttered Derek.

"Yeah? Sure seems like it."

"You smell like me," hissed Derek, "Do you know what kind of danger that puts you in?"

"Scott is my best friend. Do you know what kind of danger that puts me in? I haven't backed down once from that so for you to suggest that I--"

"It's not about you."

"Oh bullshit."

"It's about what other packs would do to you, what rogue hunters might do--"

"They might do all of that stuff already, Derek," Stiles's voice had softened, "I'm not scared of being with you."

Even though everything in his brain told him this was a bad idea, that he was risking Stiles's life, Derek couldn't help but feel the tug in his heart towards Stiles. How long had it been since he'd felt that?

Stiles stepped closer to him, "How about we get some rest and talk it over in the morning?"

Derek nodded and accepted a small kiss from Stiles.

***

Now, of course, back in the room where it started, Derek was regretting everything.

15 facts I learned from a random Wikipedia article

Original prompt: click on "Random Wikipedia Article" and write about whatever comes up (you can try 3 times and pick your favorite). For the record, I got Alejandro Estivill , Fencing at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's épée , and Benjamin F. Jonas . I chose Benjamin F. Jonas because it was the longest of the three entries and it had a photo. He was born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois as a kid, and went to college and spent the rest of his life in Louisiana Jonas's father was a merchant and lawyer His father knew Lincoln (like they were real buds) Despite this, Jonas sided with the confederacy Not only did he side with the confederacy, but he joined the Confederate army and rose to the rank of major He went to University of Louisiana (now Tulane) Jonas was Jewish (I didn't know there were Jewish senators who served the Confederacy) He was the second Jewish U.S. Senator from Louisiana and the third Jewish Senator overall Jonas was the first Ashkenazi Jewish US...

Origin story or first issue of a superhero whose super power is geometry

Arya sat in history class and was bored. She longed to get to geometry, where things made more sense. She liked geometry so much that she had joined the math team to be able to do it more. Okay, there was also the extra time with her friends who loved math as much as she did, but some of the appeal was just the math itself. Finally the bell rang and Arya had four minutes to get to her geometry class. She passed right by the chemistry class next door where her least favorite teacher was conducting experiments. He needed to be more careful, thought Arya. The teacher had once exploded a glass beaker and not on purpose. Arya took her seat and excitedly pulled out her notebook. It was her favorite color: hot pink. She assigned her notebook and folder colors in ways that felt right to her. And since geometry was her favorite subject, she made her notebook and folder for it her favorite color. As the teacher started to go over the most common mistakes from the last quiz, Arya could've swo...

Color palette

Original prompt: "Google "color palette," pick one, and write something inspired by it." I actually Googled "color palette public domain" to be sure I could use it and found the image on this post. I used the "floral" section for my inspiraiton. The soft sunlight somehow didn't dim the shine of the fireflies. Such it was in the fae realm. Fern loved this time of day in the faewild where it wasn't quite day, but it was far from night. Fern frolicked alone in the glade as she was want to do. It didn't matter to her that her laughter carried itself alone on the breeze; she was content. She wasn't sure how long she'd been alone as she watched the suns begin to set, but it was pleasant in its own way. But then, she heard a noise. It wasn't the noise of leaves on the wind or twigs snapping from some comforting creature. It was the noise of someone approaching with grim determination. Fern wasn't sure how to ready herself to ...
