15 things I want to accomplish before I'm 30

It's a bit too close for comfort. Pay off my student loan Get another piece of writing published somehow Get a pet Get into a good workout habit Live without a roommate Do meal prep once a week Go to the beach in a bikini Visit a state I haven't been to before Finish the electronic game I started Get off of dating apps Put my art in frames Find a hair stylist I trust Learn how to do a make up style that I like Run a full D&D campaign Signup for some kind of class (Prompt by Bri Aaron)

15 changes to my hair I think about trying

Some are cuts, some are dyes, some are styles! Honestly, I've wondered what I'd look like blonde. I am, every now and then, tempted to dye my hair some crazy way like those hidden rainbow ones. Get extensions to just make my volume insane Fishtail braid Whatever that one look is with two cute buns on either side of your head A streak of like green or blue or purple in my hair A short enough style that allows my curls to be super curly, but long enough that the curls still look nice. A half up style with braids A neat bun, but with one perfect curl hanging down A like crown of braids A style that makes my hair look like a huge flower Use more hair ornaments Braid flowers into my hair Find a hat I actually look good in A bun surrounded by braids (Prompt by Bri Aaron)

15 new hobbies I might enjoy

New decade, new hobbies? Making jewelry. I don't mean metalsmithing (although that's cool), I more mean just putting necklaces etc. together. Making magnets and pendants. I made a magnet at a comic book store event and it was so fun and I think I could also make pendants in a similar way. Pottery. Not sure where I'd do it, but it could be fun. Podcasting. I have a few ideas with friends, so maybe I should just try to do this finally. Streaming when I play the Sims. I have very complex backstories and maybe others would like them. Magic tricks. Just simple ones that don't require a ton of props. Photo blogging Mixology Recap blogging of some of the nuts TV I watch Doing something with my goofy doodles from school. I realize this is vague but that's where I'm at! Makeup. I am lacking some basic skills in this area. Making slideshows to music Using family videos to make new videos Making stuffed animals. Could be good gifts for friends and family (e

15 goals for this blog

As I hit 500 posts, I thought it would be good to lay out some goals. Seek out more prompts from friends. This was such a fun part of the blog, but I haven't asked people for them in a while. Continue to allow myself to write on personal topics. Even if the writing isn't the best, it helps me that that's important. Forgive myself more when I miss days. Forgive myself more when I do short posts. Sometimes it's all I can manage. Try to do a variety of forms. I've enjoyed trying poetry, but there are other things I can try. I've thought of a few others that I'll list, but I'm sure there are more! Do some book reviews. This will also help me read more. Write some letters. These could be to real people, deceased people, or fictional characters. Pick famous work to respond to. Perhaps write about that one TV show Leah and I had thought of (gotta check with her though). Make a list of places to submit. This will help me submit more work and also sho

A hollet about body image

It's a trip. Every reflective surface becomes an enemy, holding mirages confirming darkest projections hidden deep within crevices that pockmark minds. How to solve a fight when it is a civil war raging within a skull? (Prompt by me) Photo source

A hollet about not writing

It's been a struggle lately. An empty word document opens itself on my screen, asking me why I have not done so myself in such a long time. Little does it know that my mind is a reflection of the same emptiness. What to write when they're no words? (Prompt by me) Photo source

A hollet about experiences at the gym

I'm trying to go more, but some t hings make it hard. Elastic clothing becomes a new skin, promising rewards of health, strength, and beauty, but it attracts gazes from men who see nothing but a form to judge worthy of leers or of disbelief that it dares be noticed by their eyes. (Prompt by me) Photo source
