15 ideas for early and small adventures in my new D&D campaign (aka creating a new D&D world, part 24)

Not too too long ago, I purchased The Ultimate RPG Game Master's Worldbuilding Guide: Prompts and Activities to Create and Customize Your Own Game World by James D'Amato and it, and going whale watching, inspired me to create a new D&D world. So here we go! I'm going to use prompts from the book to begin crafting this world, but not all posts will be from there.

These are in no particular order.

  1. Storytelling competition
  2. Get a kid from a boat without an oar
  3. Break up a bar fight (town vs. gown tension)
  4. Steal something from the university
  5. Track and deal with an amphibious creature
  6. Spy on a council member for another
  7. Investigate a series of robberies
  8. Tame a wild university party
  9. Recover objects from a shipwreck (maybe involves a tangle with a sea creature?)
  10. Recover their memories (they were partially wiped because they saw the fae)
  11. Fight off some marauding bandits
  12. Best a puzzle box for treasure
  13. Haunted house
  14. The eccentric collector at the university has lost one of their creatures
  15. Drinking contest

15 facts about my dad

Just been thinking about some lighthearted facts I know about my dad lately.
