15 things that happened at the conference today (again)

It remains an interesting place! There was free coffee and treats provided by Georgetown University Press My credit card machine ran out of paper (but then this evening seemed to have more paper...) A lovely lady named Mia came and gave me a croissant because she knows we exhibitors are a bit chained to our booths Not enough people said hello back when I said hello I kept being told how much smaller the exhibit hall is this year than previous years "Surface Pressure" from Encanto  was stuck in my head The most casually dressed people were men I watched a pretty good game of bags I found a welcome sign in many languages Someone told me about a lovely tour they had in Chicago and how the lake moved them I wished the exhibit hall had music One booth was decorated with mini beach balls People finished the game of Jenga I spotted a free zine I ate dinner in my hotel room (luxury) (Prompt by me)

15 things that happened at the conference today

It's an interesting place! I got free sunglasses I had to listen to someone praise the Cubs I had to listen to someone praise UCPD (crediting them with being the only reason the University still exists) I learned that there is no free coffee (a major no no) I chatted with fellow exhibitors I tried new restaurants in this huge complex I sold books I had to deny someone a book because it was my last copy of a major title I got free cake (twas tasty) Games including Jenga, bags, and Connect Four were provided I relearned our exam copy policy I discovered I'm better at navigating the hotel than others My face got itchy from wearing a mask for so long (and I'm wearing it for more hours tomorrow) I lost track of time I stayed on top of my email by working after the conference (Prompt by me)

Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race season 14, episode 12

Time for the Rusical! "I think I've established compromise is for losers" Oof some role choosing drama I feel bad for Lady I like Angeria and Lady's friendship so much "Shake the dice and like it up" Jorgeous is itty bitty Jorgeous seems fine at the choreo, Daya "Make tea out of lemonade" How have you not heard of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon ? I love Ru's look Andra Day looks so comfy and so beautiful The background dancers are very good Wow they sure did shoehorn in non-queens Wow Willow looks so pretty Everyone did pretty well in the Rusical I love Lady's look Seven years of bad tuck is a solid joke, Ross I like Bosco's look, but it feels predictable for her I hate to say it, but I'm not a fan of Willow's look I like Angeria's look, but I'm not in love Again, I like Daya's look, but I'm not in love I'm not a fan of DeJa's look (I feel like I'm being harsh this episode) I'm not a fan of Jorgeo...
