15 ideas for early and small adventures in my new D&D campaign (aka creating a new D&D world, part 24)
Not too too long ago, I purchased The Ultimate RPG Game Master's Worldbuilding Guide: Prompts and Activities to Create and Customize Your Own Game World by James D'Amato and it, and going whale watching, inspired me to create a new D&D world. So here we go! I'm going to use prompts from the book to begin crafting this world, but not all posts will be from there.

These are in no particular order.
- Storytelling competition
- Get a kid from a boat without an oar
- Break up a bar fight (town vs. gown tension)
- Steal something from the university
- Track and deal with an amphibious creature
- Spy on a council member for another
- Investigate a series of robberies
- Tame a wild university party
- Recover objects from a shipwreck (maybe involves a tangle with a sea creature?)
- Recover their memories (they were partially wiped because they saw the fae)
- Fight off some marauding bandits
- Best a puzzle box for treasure
- Haunted house
- The eccentric collector at the university has lost one of their creatures
- Drinking contest
