I love that the queens are excited to see each other

I like seeing the queens become friends

Alyssa's zebra look is great
Bosco's zebra look is pretty fun
Willow's zebra look isn't zebra enough for me
Kerri's zebra look is so flouncy
Kornbread's zebra look could have had bigger hair
Orion's zebra look is cute
June's zebra look is fabulous
Daya's red look is great
Angeria's red look is one I want to spin in
DeJa's red look's makeup could've matched better I think
Jasmine's red look is a bit basic for me (only until the lobster claws came out)
Jorgeous's red look is hot but kind of simple
Lady's red look is glamorous
Maddy's red look doesn't fit the best
Alyssa's leopard look is very fashion
Bosco's leopard look makes good use of different leopard print
Willow's leopard look again could've been more leopard
Kerri's leopard look has the best fascinator
Kornbread's leopard look came with the best facial expressions
Orion's leopard look didn't do it for me (maybe it was the skull with blood?)
June's leopard look is too hard to walk in
Daya's white look is fantastic
Angeria's white look has the best pants
Deja's white look looks good
Jasmine's white look could've been more white
Jorgeous's white look is very clean and elegant
Lady's look has a fun neckline, but I don't like the bow
Maddy's white look made me go whoa
Alyssa's wedding look is perfection
Bosco's bridal look doesn't feel very bridal (but that may just be the print)
Willow's bridal look was thought out to a t
Kerri's wedding look is okay
Kornbread's wedding look isn't my favorite, but she gives great face
Orion's wedding look also doesn't feel very bridal
June's wedding look was obscured by her bouquet
Daya's wedding look really reminds me of Crystal Methyd
Angeria's wedding look is heavenly
DeJa's wedding look isn't working for me
Jasmine's wedding look looks hard to walk in
Jorgeous's wedding look is sexy
Lady's wedding look is a bit too crafty for me
Maddy's wedding look is just a bit too simple for me (but the performance is cute)

By the way, I think these "drag gods" are just the producers who could easily switch out a gold chocolate bar

Starting my parental journey, part 1

To be clear, I am not pregnant. Nor do I currently plan on being pregnant soon. However, I promised myself that if I was 30 and still single I'd start to explore my options for having a child either on my own or later in life with a partner. Well, 30 came and went, but 31 is still here so close enough I figure. My first step was to make an appointment to discuss options with a doctor because I could do all the research I wanted on the internet, but I knew it would overwhelm me. As I write this, I haven't had that appointment yet so no news there. Now I made this appointment in February (hey, I was still 30 then!) and it was originally scheduled for October (yes, an 8-month wait for an initial appointment), but last week the appointment got moved up to this week and things got moving! Starting my parental journey, part 2

You can read part 1 here . Yesterday I began the next step of my parental journey. Ironically, it was starting birth control. This medicine helps prepare my ovaries for the egg retrieval process. It was weird taking the pill to prepare for my fertility journey because you typically think of the pill as ensuring you don't get pregnant. Obviously, I'm not getting pregnant now, but I am getting ready for that eventual possibility. There have also been various bureaucratic issues that I've been dealing with. Mostly insurance stuff (as I'm sure comes as no surprise). But, thanks to a new benefit at work that started 1/1/24, my journey will be (mostly) covered. While, again, there were some bureaucratic hurdles that I had to overcome in order for this to all work out, I am immensely glad that it did work out. I am nervous though. In part I'm nervous about a lot of the practicalities of this step in my journey. For instance, I will have to inject myself with various medica
