15 tips to finding volunteering opportunities

This is in large part to help me brainstorm.

  1. Ask at your local hospital (they often need volunteers for various things)
  2. Ask at your local retirement home (they often need volunteers for various things)
  3. Ask at your work (some places have structured opportunities already)
  4. Ask your friends how they volunteer
  5. Ask your local scout troop if they need volunteers
  6. Craft a fundraiser around a cause you believe in (this could even be a food drive at work or it could be a virtual fundraiser)
  7. Explore options from schools you went to
  8. Find community organizations and see if they need anything
  9. Google local volunteer fairs
  10. Google organizations you believe in and explore what they need
  11. Google your local parks' organizations
  12. If you have a house of worship, ask there
  13. Think about what skills you have to contribute to an organization and look for opportunities that align with those
  14. Think about what you are most passionate about and find opportunities that align with your passions
  15. Think about your schedule and how much time you could realistically commit to volunteering and look for opportunities that align with those

15 facts about my dad

Just been thinking about some lighthearted facts I know about my dad lately.
