15 thoughts on the last seven episodes of The Ultimatum: Queer Love, season 2

Spoilers for the whole season!

  1. HOW DID SO MANY COUPLES GET ENGAGED?!
  2. And yet none got married
  3. Mel was definitely ready to run away with Dayna
  4. I do wonder if either will cover up or remove their matching tattoo
  5. I'm so glad AJ and Britney are still happily together
  6. I also love that they coordinated reunion outfits (and that two vases matched them too)
  7. Marie is (rightfully) PISSED at the reunion (so pissed that I wonder if she was pressured via her contract to attend the reunion)
  8. I wish (as I do for many reality shows) that part of the "social experiment" included therapy
  9. What did Kyle and Bridget mean that fiancé is the only gender neutral term? Partner? Significant other? Spouse?
  10. Joanna Garcia Swisher continues to baffle me as a host (even though AJ said nice things about her hosting)
  11. I can't believe it took til the reunion to find out that Marita and Ashley had cheated on each other (although it's possible some of this "cheating" as while they were broken up? it was honestly unclear to me)
  12. I swear one of the proposals involved a different ring that those provided (the box was different at least)
  13. I was glad to hear things have improved with Pilar and Magan's families
  14. I hope for another season!
  15. Maybe they'll do one with all guys?

15 facts about my dad

Just been thinking about some lighthearted facts I know about my dad lately. When he was young, he had a goldfish named Lysander He introduced me to Star Trek At Christmas, he would tear up at It's a Wonderful Life He used to send me articles from his Yahoo email account that he thought I'd like We used to play a game called "Nightmare" where he would lie down and we'd jump around (and sometimes on) him He would clip possible recipes for us to try out of newspapers and magazines We bought him a Paddington Bear to take on trips because we feared he'd be lonely and he always took it He had teddy bears for three different holidays We once had such a hilariously difficult time building a gingerbread house that when some frosting ended up on the counter, I plopped a gumdrop on it and we laughed until we cried He and his sister were born about 11 months apart We would try recipes from Top Chef He kept gifts I made him, even when they weren't great At Christmas, ...
