15 websites (including Etsy shops) that I can't personally recommend for buying holiday gifts, but would still like to promote

I'm sure I'm missing some, but these are ones that I have either heard great things about, bought from in-person, but can't speak to their online capabilities, or that I have been curious about. They are in no particular order.

I also wanted to, again, highlight my post "15 websites (including Etsy shops) that I can personally recommend for buying holiday gifts".

I was inspired to do this by We Ain’t Buying It, which is calling on people to stop shopping at Target, Home Depot, and Amazon between Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday. You can read more about this boycott on their website (linked above) or in The Hill's article "‘We Ain’t Buying It’: These retailers are being targeted by holiday shopping boycott" by Alix Martichoux.

  1. Goose Creek (okay, I forgot this one for the previous post, I have bought from them online before and love their candles): Premium Scented Candles – Elevate Your Space with Luxurious Fragrance.

Moss Amigos (okay, I forgot this one for the previous post, I have bought from them online before and love their stuff): You don’t need a green thumb to experience the joy and satisfaction of plant parenting. Every Moss Amigo you bring into your space or gift to someone special serves as more than just a beautiful piece of home decor. Let our pet plants fill the gap in society’s overly technological life that craves a touch of nature without the fuss, an attainable commitment that doesn't require extra work.
  3. Amourable Art (bought from at C2E2 and I can personally speak to product quality): Elevated fanart prints and mugs for the modern geek.

I'm angry

I'm angry. And I don't (at the moment) want to be talked out of it. I struggle, often, with expressing or even just sitting with my emotions. I feel like even the photo I chose for this post was more reserved or toned down than how I feel.  But, this is my trying. I'm not going to time this post, just going to write until I feel done, whenever that may be. In this post, I'm going to focus on the anger I feel around my dad and my dad's death.
