Way back in 2019, I wrote "15 things I've been meaning to watch" (I also did a series of pieces of media that I want to watch/read/play/listen to in 2024). So now is a 2025 list focused on shows and movies.
- Ginny & Georgia: Free-spirited Georgia and her two kids, Ginny and Austin, move north in search of a fresh start but find that the road to new beginnings can be bumpy.
- The Residence: Cordelia Cupp, an eccentric detective, arrives at the White House in order to solve a murder which happened during a state dinner.
- Arcane, season 2: Amidst the escalating unrest between the rich, utopian city of Piltover and the seedy, oppressed underbelly of Zaun, sisters Vi and Powder find themselves embroiled in a developing conflict over clashing convictions and arcane technologies.
- Wednesday, season 2: Wednesday returns to Nevermore and, while developing her psychic abilities, must face a new tormentor and prevent her roommate's death.
- Delicious in Dungeon: Dungeons, dragons... and delicious monster stew!? Adventurers foray into a cursed buried kingdom to save their friend, cooking up a storm along the way.
- Amy Bradley is Missing: This true-crime series investigates the 1998 disappearance of a 23-year-old woman from a Caribbean cruise and her family's tireless search for answers.
- Resident Alien: An alien crashes on Earth and hides in a remote Colorado mountain town. After assuming the identity of the town doctor, Harry Vanderspeigle, his nefarious mission to kill all humans is threatened when he realizes one of the townspeople, a 9-year-old boy, can see his true alien form.
- The Merry Gentlemen: To save her parents' small-town nightclub, a Broadway dancer stages an all-male, Christmas-themed revue and meets a guy with all the right moves.
- Heartstopper: Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love.
- Wind River: An FBI agent teams with a town's veteran game tracker to investigate a murder that occurred on a Native American reservation.
- MerPeople: The world of underwater performers who have turned their love of mythical sea creatures into real-world careers.
- Lady Chatterley's Lover: After falling out of love with her husband following a war injury, Lady Chatterley pursues a torrid affair with the gamekeeper on their estate and begins to uncover her own internal biases.
- When They See Us: It is based on events of the 1989 Central Park jogger case and explores the lives and families of the five Black and Latino male suspects who were falsely accused then prosecuted on charges related to the rape and assault of a White woman in Central Park, Manhattan, New York City.
- Only Murders in the Building, season 5: Three strangers share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
- The Mighty Nein, premieres 11/19/25: When a powerful arcane relic known as The Beacon falls into dangerous hands, a group of fugitives and outcasts, bound by secrets and scars, must learn to work together to save the realm and stop reality itself from unraveling.
